(Sorry for the double post but I forgot to post for King John) John yawned and sat boredly in his room, his legs dangling off the edge of the bed. "Come in." he said when there was a knock on the door. A messenger boy came in and bowed before speaking. "Lady Pippa has arrived, my lord." John raised an eyebrow as if to ask who. "Queen Adrianna's sister." the boy said. John smiled a little. "Get her stuff put into the guest quarters and have her meet me in the Throne Room." he said. They both walked out of his room, the messenger boy going to get Pippa and John to the Throne Room.

Poppa smiled as the exited the palace. "Your highness." she said with a curtsy, "It has been too long." she said walking towards him. Her driver helped to take the bags around and then took the horses and carriage on to the stable.

Arowin laughed. "It is good to see you again Frank." she said before turning to Emerald, "Well, since when have you stopped to listen?" she teased her. "You know better than to worry about me, I look after myself and I had business to attend to and will no doubt have more in the next while she said and couldn't help but smile.

John smiled and walked towards her with outstretched arms. He gathered her in a hug. "Indeed it has." he agreed, now holding her at arm's length. "Come inside my dear, we have much to talk about."

Pippa returned his hug and walked inside with him up the stairs and through the huge doors. She looked around the enterance hall and smiled looking up at the painting on the far wall of a small child on a huge white mare. "Is that Kyle on Arianna's mare?" she asked stepping forward to look at it. "He was so small." she said with a sad sigh.

Saya walks in with her head bowed. "What would you like for a late supper your highness?" She asked still looking down, she had already been reprimanded by the head of the kitchen that would taste test the food.

Pippa looked at the girl whom had just entered. Kitchen staff usually werent allowed in a room without the consent of the lord of the house and it stunned her that this girl was allowed in at all. Pippa moved forward, her gold, red and brown gown flowed effortlessly behind her as she loved. "Who are you?" she asked her.

"I am the cook, I came to see if the King would like a late supper or early breakfast." Saya said her head still bowed but her shoulders squared.
