Lucifer snorted, "She probably hates me for leaving her like that." He looked over at Ash, "How pissed off would you be if they guy you loved just up and left one night?" He raised his eyebrows in question.

"You move on..." Ash murmured with a wistful smile. "Trust me, it's happened more times than I care to keep track of..." she added after a moment, meeting his gaze evenly. "It hurts for a while, but then you move on with your life. Though your trust is essentially shot..." she said softly, looking away after a moment, staring at the ground, trying very, very hard to keep the memories from coming back.

Ash smirked, finally looking back up at him after a moment to calm herself again. "I don't even sink that low... I tend to stick to myself..." she murmured rising up from the floor after a moment. She moved towards him, holding her hand out to help him up, glad that she was wearing jeans so he couldn't see up her skirt.
