Christmas songs have been around as long as Christmas has; some even before! They range from being religiously sentimental to lightheartedly comedic. Some are used by carolers, some are played way too frequently on the radio, and some make you crave your grandma's homemade sugar cookies. Out of the hundreds in existence, which one(s) is/are your favorite?

If offense has been taken, I apoligize for this. Please feel free to PM me about any questions/comments/offenses regarding this topic (or regarding anything, really)!]

My favorite is probably Carol of the Bells, but I also like Silver Bells and Angels We Have Heard On High

It's more of a general winter song than a Christmas Song, but "Baby, It's Cold Outside" is my favorite.
I also love:
"Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire" by Nat King Cole
"White Christmas" by Bing Crosby
"Carol of the Bells"
"Christmas Eve/ Sarajevo" by The Trans-Siberian Orchestra (which is basically the above, but with guitars)
"The Gingerbread House" (I remember singing this one in elementary school, and I love it dearly)
"The Nutcracker Suite" by Tchaikovsky
I have a huge soft spot for just about every Christmas song, though.
D'aww, I need to find my Christmas CD; I'm in the mood to listen to these songs now. :3

I love TSO!
And I love the song "Baby, it's cold outside", it always reminds me of the movie Elf.
My grandma used to teach my brothers and me German Christmas songs, like Alle Jahre Wieder (if anyone knows that one) and O Tannenbaum (Oh Christmas Tree). I love songs that remind me of past Christmasses as a child, like The Gingerbread House is for you.
I had never heard of that song, but it's pretty cool! I liked the hairstyles in the music video, pretty groovy
