Silex

Silex drew his head back slightly, seeing that the fawn's leg was twisted unnaturally, however, he carried on round the long grass to get to the other side of the clearing so he would be able to get the fawn easier.

[zima.]

Vivian crept after him, seeing his strategy. She gave a small huff of warning as a huge stag raised his head, and she stopped. She thanked Tor she was downwind of the beast, and crept foward once again once his head went down.

Silex

Silex kept his eye on the stag warily, slowing down as it looked up. Once he was satisfied that it had put it's head down he carried on moving. He crept round to a good angle and looked over at Vivian to see whether she was ready to catch the fawn.

[zima.]

She was crouched low, her strong legs taught and ready to pounce. She looked to Silex for a signal, wanting to get this over with. She tried her best to keep the feeling of wrongness at the back of her mind. She would thin about it later.

Silex

Silex watched Vivian get ready. He looked up slightly one more time before he looked back at her. He couldn't help but notice a slightly anxious look in her eyes, however he didn't think too much of it-after all, he thought, there was a large stag there. He nodded in her direction and leapt out from the grass, grabbing the fawn by it's shoulder.

[zima.]

She lept out after Silex, ignoring her slight hesitation. She gabbed the creature's front leg, swinging about. She jumped up once again, grabbing him by the throat. She let go once again as she missed his vein, growling in frustration. Her eyes burned with bloodlust, and she sanrled.

Silex

Silex moved his grip to the fawn's lower back, grabbing it round the spine. He had his claws round another one of it's legs and he held a firm grip. He growled as he bit into it and he looked up to see if Vivian had gotten hold of it.

[zima.]

She leaped up once again, and finally snagged the fawn's throat. She almost whimpered as she felt her teeth puncture the vein, and felt the blood trickle in her mouth. She pulled it down, then shook hard, only once. The fawn kicked a few more times, then lay still.

Silex

Silex let go of the fawn as he felt it go limp in his mouth. He licked blood from his lips and lifted his head, watching the herd of deer fleeing from the clearing. He looked back at Vivian. "Ready to take it back?" he asked, panting slightly.

[zima.]

She nodded, looking warily at the dead fawn. She grabbed a leg, and started t odrag, her muscles constricting underneath her black coat. Her violet eyes held a fire in them, though were sad and solemn at the same time.
