Silex nodded. "Yes, that's about it. I really should have made our lives easier and just said that, shouldn't I?" he grinned, with a slight chuckle. "Is there anything else you'd like me to explain?"

Kasi

Kasi streched out her legs in the sun. She looked over at the horizon, the sun still high in the sky. She decided that this evening would be the best time for hunting. She yawned slightly, and looked over at Falon, a small smile on her face.

Jard

Jard crawled out of his small den slowly, squinting at the light. He sat up and looked round the loner lands, to see what was around, if anything at all.

She gave a small chuckle as well. "I don't believe so. I think I've got it all." she nervously curled her tail around her paws, looking away.

Silex

Silex nodded. "Good." he said, looking around. He glanced over at the prey pile. It was nearly empty and what was there seemed very dry and old. "The prey pile looks bare." he said turning back to Vivian, "I'm going to go hunting. Care to join me?" he asked, smiling.

She nodded quickly. "Sure," she still seemed a bit nervous, but was happy to have someone to talk to.

Silex

Silex smiled at Vivian. He was glad that he would have someone to go with. He put his head back and smelt the air, hoping to catch a good scent.

[zima.]

She swiveled her ears around, hearing the faint sound of grazing. She turned to Silex. "Over there," she whispered, heading north.

Silex

Silex followed Vivian up towards the north, he crouched low to the ground and his ears were pinned forward. He had picked up the sound too.

She sniffed, and crouched down. She crept forward, looking through the trees. She saw a herd of deer, and there were many fawns. She licked her lips, remembering the sweet taste of baby deer, and tried not to think of how the baby would feel the terrible death pain, how the mother would grieve. She mentally shook herself. Why bring up such memories?

Silex

Silex put his head up slightly. He saw the many deer and smiled, licking his lips, He surveyed each one closely, deciding which one would be the best to put in the prey pile. He moved a little closer and put his head back down.

She turned to lok at him, then nodded at a large fawn with a badly twisted leg. He stood on the outskirts of the herd, protected by no one. Vivian tried to convince herself that he would be better off dead, and that it was best he died quickly in the name of food than for a disease.
