The Mirror-By ιяιѕlуα
Prologue: There are two types of reality in this world. The first being the perceived reality, that which is the norm. The second being that of the intangible, the reality which exists in the mind but may not truly be experienced by the rest of society. In certain situations though, these realities can collide. And in these situations the intangible may become tangible while only existing to certain individuals. But these circumstances rarely ever occur. They are something of an illusive quality and tend to show themselves only on occasion. So the tangible and intangible remain separated; the perceived reality taking president over the intangible. But there are the few unexplained occurrences in the world, which point to the connection between the two realities. But whether or not society can see beyond the perceived is that of an unknown state.
I'm issuing a warning now that there will be parts of this story which I must take out. The PG-13 rules will never allow some pieces of text from The Mirror to be open to the public view. And frankly, I wouldn't want anyone unable to handle the images of death and brutality that I will be portraying, to read these passages. So, if you are over the age of fourteen, and think you can handle the scenes I will be cutting out, I can PM you the passage. But if you do not meet these requirements, I will not tolerate you asking for the scene. Some of these passages are difficult for me to even write, much less read. As of late I haven't reached these points in the story, but I am warning you for the future.

In the year of 2020, thigs have been going... Wrong. A war has started between the United States and Canada. As the war goes, many are killed and the US find themselves needing to get more recruits. Children age 3-8 will be stolen and taken to train while anyone 9-25 will be forced into the military, whether male or female. There are also individual families fighting, ones that will kill someone, then thye must avenge the death. No one wins in this war, yet the still fight. There is no peace, no serenity anywhere. This world is falling apart beneath their feet. Will the "soldiers" stand up to their leaders or keep fighting the forever going war.

Everyone is telling me to forget my past, to forget my losses. Forget the pain and suffering I felt during the Dark Days. Forget the death of everyone I loved and cherished. Forget my whole world unravel at the seams- not that I wanted it to stay together anyways. Forget the brutal events I watched play out. Forget everything the Empire made me suffer, and on top of this somehow manage to forgive.
Forget and forgive, forgive and forget.
How can I forget? I tried to, believe me. I remember everything, though I wish I didn't. Every aching moment of my memory is dedicated only to my nightmares which are not really nightmares- rather the rememberence of my past. I wake up screaming every night, the pain unbearing. Though my physical scars have long since been repaired, the emotional and mental trauma is untreatable. I warn you beforehand, don't read this if you are of but a faint heart.

It´s kind hard to say what it´s about. The main character is a wild rat who lives in a "Colony". It´s more realistic than most animal stories of it´s kind, but not completely. Originally, the idea was to write something that is similar to Warriors, but without the thousands of things that annoy me about it. (Warriors is just getting ridiculous.) That was the original plan, but by the time I actually found the time to start writing, I´d had so many different ideas of my own that I don´t think it can be compared to Warriors anymore.

The Third Dawn-By Willow's Dawns
Hawk, Holly and Sparrow's life in a wolf-filled forest is peaceful. They've never had to fight except in training, they have enough food, and their pack is thriving. But Hawk's dark new trainee Snow is gone frequently, acts strange, and seems to hate Hawk. The three wolves think nothing of it, though.
But before they know it, they're thrust into an unexplained war where the prize is small and the consequence is huge. They form unexpected allies, and change occurs for the better: Sparrow is forced to face his past as an accidental murderer and Holly, the harsh and rude female, falls in love. Everything else, though, is thrown upside-down and out of proportion. Hawk, the sweet and peaceful once in the group, is warlike. Sparrow's cover is blown to someone he tried to protect. Worst of all, barely two months after Holly is appointed lieutenant of their side, the third most powerful position in the war and with take-no-prisoners at the top of the rule list, once of the only wolves she ever got close to is killed. She stays strong, but is an emotionless, useless wolf. Nothing is going as planned, until the wolves find something that cancels out everything they ever thought existed, even their very moral code.

About five friends and their lives at two neighboring bording schools; one for boys and one for girls. The story starts out with the two main characters, Max and Westly, but introduces the other characters as the story continues. Told from different points of view from each chapter, with '1/2 chapters' to tell the same story from another point of view, and 'end chapters' of each section which switch to third person to wrap up the section.

Prologue: I believe it has been said, or rather written, by a man of the name Robert M. Pirsig, that "Modern man has his ghosts and spirits too... Your common sense is nothing more than the voices of thousands and thousands of these ghosts from the past. Ghosts and more ghosts. Ghosts trying to find their place among the living." But if it was indeed the case that all intangible ideas are merely ghosts, then what in this world walks amongst the living? And if our minds are simply conjurers and creators of ethereal spirits, then how can we begin to differentiate from that which is true, and that which is false? Now who wants to hear a ghost story?
There will be parts of this story that will not adhere to the PG-13 rule. When these passages so happen to turn up, you will find a handy link which will redirect you to my blog where the full chapter can be read uncensored. (Please note that most of the times these passages will be removed due to violence, not romance. Although on occasion if I believe the romance to be to much for CS I will redirect to my blog.) If you are not above the age of thirteen then please do not read these passages. There is a reason they are not being posted on CS. In fact, if you're under thirteen, just don't even begin reading. This story will get a bit dense sometimes and go into some deep analysis of the mind of the main character and question why it thinks the way it does. Penelope loves the market, but hates the name. The islands school is very tiny, but even in Penelope's grade, there is a mean girl, who despises Penelope. Every morning on Saturdays and Sundays, she rides her old bike down to the beach, to watch the water and find seashells. This all is normal, until one day, Penelope meets a boy. A fourteen boy named Chase Leasly {Pronounced Lease-Lee}, who is perhaps the cutest boy Penelope had ever seen. A strong friendship forms between the two. Penelope
soon learns that Chase holds a dark secret, and never looks at the boy on the beach the same way again.
I would like to make it clear, that this story is not a romance. There might be a quick kiss or something, but this is not a romance. I know the title is very cheesy and such, and I'm working on the title still :3

It's the five-hundredth anniversary of the Dark Days, and, naturally, the five hundredth Hunger Games. For centuries now children have been sent as Tributes to the Capitol. We all know the story of the Hunger Games, twenty-four children are sent as tributes to Capitol and have to fight to the death.
But this is a Quarter Quell, things are different this year. This time, families have been randomly chosen, and as usually families have more than one kid, more than one male and one female will be chosen to represent the Districts. Two of each, to be exact. And when there aren't enough kids in each family, others, only children, will be chosen too. Volunteering means the whole family gets thrown in, so who has the guts to do that?
With only one victor, how will the families cope? And who will win?

The Last Hope-By Sparrow Chase
It been seasons apon seasons since the five Clans (ThunderClan, RiverClan, SkyClan, ShadowClan, and WindClan) were around. They've disappeared, and they've been replaced by even more Clans. They've learned how the world works, but that's when everything changes. Twolegs have all disappeared, and all of the land is being destroyed by disasters, then being eaten by the rising tide. There are two cats meant to stop things like this, but generations ago, the good cat gave up their position, throwing away everything and running.
Northstar thought everything was perfect. ArcticClan was thriving, she was expecting a litter of her own, and they had become used to live on the shore. But half of the Clan gives up faith in her, trying to escape to a mythical safe-haven known as "The Valley of the Kings". Northstar tries to retrieve them, but finds she's too late. When she returns home, all but six of her remaining clanmates have drowned.
Her former deputy, and mate, now tells her she must find the cat now meant to keep the peace, to save more than just her own Clan, and to go to the Valley. But to be careful, the disasters are worse in the valley. They maybe safe from the ocean there, but victim to everything else.
Now, Northstar has been thrown into an every changing world, where you can only rely on yourself, but how do you hold a Clan together like that? She must figure out how to hold them together, through love, jealousy, war, peace, and keep them all alive. It will test everything she believes in, and nothing will ever be the same.

Hazel Pavel is the McNair family's new Jewish nanny in the 1930s. The McNairs, immigrants of England, moved to Poland two generations ago. In the tough economic times, Hazel works for the family to live, them supplying her a place to sleep, food, water, etc. Dustin, the oldest son of the McNairs, has fallen in love with Hazel and she isn't quite sure how to respond to that yet. One day, the father, Seb McNair, comes home saying a man had stolen money from them and he is bringing it to court. The youngest of the three kids, Camilla and Ethel ask if it is possible that their father won't get their money back. Hazel says that's crazy but wise Ethel responds, "Life is crazy."
