She opened her chocolate brown eyes and instantly let out a sharp growl. She made her way out of the box and stood stiff-legged in front of the two dogs. "Who are you?" She asked in a sharp tone, her voice like shattered glass. Her multi-hued coat stood on end as she took in their height and size, comparing them to herself.

Blizzard

She turned around to see Cricket, and bared her teeth. She raised the hair on her shoulders, and tensed up her body. "Whats it to you?" She asked, in a cold voice. What is it with dogs around here? So confrontational. She wondered, still glaring at Cricket.



Kestrel

Kestrel growled at Blizzard, cuffing her on the head with his paw. "Don't be like that!" He said, than stood in front of her. "Why, I am Kestrel, and this is my friend, Blizzard. We are just looking for some food. You are?" He asked in a friendly tone, his eyes soft.

Cricket
She growled, keeping her eyes glued to the female. Her stare was cold and sharp, but she addressed Kestrel coolly. "I'm Cricket," Her tail curled over her back again and the fur along her spine stood up. She suddenly seemed to grow a little, as she puffed out her chest.

Blizzard

Blizzard growled once more at Cricket, then nudged Kestrel with her nose. 'I'm going to look for food, alright?" She said, then walked off without an answer. I really don't like that female...well I guess I'm not very friendly to strangers either. She thought, as she looked around for something that she could eat. In the distance, she saw a dumpster, and quickly started to run toward it. It was behind a bakery, which was a good sign. Bet there will be something good in there. She thought, as she came up to it.

Kestrel

Kestrel waited until Blizzard was far enough she couldn't here. "Sorry about my friend, she is just a little aggressive towards strangers." Kestrel said, slightly tilting his head to look at Cricket. He studied her posture. He was bigger than her, but he was quite a big dog.

She shook her head, watching Blizzard leave. She turned her gaze back on the male and loosened up a bit. She barely relaxed her shoulders and the fur along her spine lay flat again. Her brown eyes glanced him over, unsure of what to say.

Kestrel

Kestrel noticed the change in Cricket's stance, and slightly wagged his tail. "So, do you plan on living in that box? It won't serve very good as a shelter." He said, looking to the cardboard box. He probably wouldn't even be able to fit in it, and if he did somehow, the box would have probably fallen apart. His pale eyes scanned over the surroundings, waiting for something to happen.

Blizzard

Blizzard dove into the dumpster, searching for food. So far, all she saw was empty pastry boxes and gross garbage. She was about to get out when she saw something right in the corner of the dumpster. "Booyah!" She said aloud, and 'swam' through the garbage to the corner. Sitting in the corner was a box full of doughnuts. They looked pleasant, and she clenched her jaws around the box, pulling it out. It contained about a dozen doughnuts, and she proudly trotted back to Kestrel. "Found some food." She said, putting the box in front of Cricket.

Kira looked up. "Food? Plenty of food here. I'm Kira, by the way." Kira told the other stray dog.

Storm

Storm padded up. "Yea, there's plenty here. Make yourself comfortable. I'm Storm."
