Shirley went into the forest and wandered around. She didn't know what to do next. She lost her bestest friend and Jake was probably still at the waterfall.

Jake padded back to camp.

Sharon had swam in the icy water, but eventually got really exhausted. She gathered a log and jumped on it. She sat there until she had the energy to get back up.

Jake went in his tent and laid down and rested his head on his paws.

Sharon didn't want to see Shirley, because she knew that she probably hated her.

Shirley wandered some more. Then, she jumped into a near-by river thinking that swimming should ease her loneliness and boredom.
