Smiley was smiling. He left the boy for a few more moments in excruciating pain before letting the electricity return to its socket. He walked slowly across the floor as though the screaming young man was nothing out of the ordinary. He stood over his curled up form, looking down on him like he was a hurt child. "Are you going to be good and listen or do I have to stress the importance of this point?" he asked, his eyes narrowing on Jax, ready to summon another bolt of electricity.

Antonio shook his head "As long as I have Erica I'm happy." he said with a big smile. He was happy and he couldn't help but stress the point in front of Smiley. The Doctor seemed determined to make their lives miserable and he needed to know he had failed. Antonio looked back up at the Doctor seeing the confused and rather angry look on his face but just ignoring it. "Do you have any more questions? I'm in a very talkative mood right now." he said happily. Smiley only answered by snapping his pan into place on the clipboard and storming out of the room with a glare.

Erica nodded her agreement to Antonio's words. As long as she was with him she was fine too. Her body relaxed as Smiley stormed out of the room and her eyes closed for a moment before she looked up at Antonio. "Was that wise, what if he forces us apart now?" She asked him trying to ignore the voices that planted such thoughts in her mind.

Antonio shook his head "As long as I have Erica I'm happy." he said with a big smile. He was happy and he couldn't help but stress the point in front of Smiley. Jax whimpered in response, his whole body quivered in pain from the shock and his breathing was ragged from the pain in his chest. But spite the fact that he was in pain he snarled, his normal self coming through. It was a low snarl, barely heard but there, before shaking uncontrollably once more.

Madi prowled the halls like a cat, her eyes flicking back and forth, her head swiveling at every movement. She thought she heard something and paused; nothing. Alert, she turned a corner.

Antonio shrugged "Most of the time as long as you keep asking you questions he gets annoyed enough to leave you alone for a couple days." He was well aware Smiley was probably glaring at the screens monitoring this room as they spoke but he really didn't care. It wasn't going to keep him form annoying Smiley and it wasn't going to stop Smiley from being annoyed, he simply knew why he did it. "Besides if he gets to mad at us I'll step out of the room for a couple minutes and come back in... technically they would be a break from being in the same room." he said with a joking smile. He doubted the Doctor would force them apart, but if he did that was Antonio's fall back plan.

The Doctor pocked the boy with his toe, more of a kick then a poke, just to show how weak and powerless he was. "I'm assuming you can talk though I would be no small wonder." he grumbled, he had already lost interest in this subject. He looked down on the boy like he was some animal that was threatening it's master. "I want words not some animalistic response." he muttered in a very snooty tone. He was higher than all the lesser beings here, he was the one with the powers most would call magic, he was the one that had gone through the pain and torment to become higher and so he was.

Erica nodded, she had never tried asking questions, she had just answered his. Besides once Smiley came in her voice roared in her head distracting her from thinking and therefore being able to answer his questions with more than a few words. Erica smiled at his plan. "Well if it ever comes to that then alright. That does sound like it would work pretty well." She replied to Antonio. Erica tucked her head back against his chest feeling much more at ease.

Madi kept padding down the corridor, feeling slightly afraid. It was silent. Usually there was some kind of noise, but now... nothing except her bare feet. She felt fear envelope her heart and it began to beat faster, trying to break free of the shroud. She heard a whimper escape from her throat and her head whipped around, searching for a guard or worse; Smiley.

Antonio rubbed Erica's back, feeling her warm shape huddled against his chest. He carefully grabbed the blanket from the armrest and wrapped it back around her. He would the worst part of the rainy days here was the cold, Smiley was a little cheap on the heating bill. "I'm sure Smiley's too busy with his rounds to bother with us at the moment." he said with a little smile, leaning back into the couch cushions.

Erica smiled and tilted her back slightly to direct his hands, sighing in a contented manner. "I'm not cold." She murmured to Antonio as he wrapped the blanket around her, but she didn't shrug it away. She wasn't cold but she wasn't hot either, and the blanket did help retain her body heat. "Thank you though." She added and cuddled back against Antonio. Now Smiley was gone and her voice had calmed a bit though they continued to mock her. Being near Antonio helped though, she could ignore them with him around.
