I'm gifted and have a high IQ, but I'm not going to go into some long rant about how "mature" or "amazing" I am, because I don't think either of those things are totally true. That's all I'm saying.

Harry is gifted with his ability not to die!
Hermione is gifted with smarts
Ron is gifted with the ability to eat all the time...
Draco is gifted with the ability to draw very well...
On the other hand

Cedric does not lack the ability to die like Harry
Harry is not extremely smart like Hermione
Hermione isn't the best artist
Ron isn't exactly smart, either.
and Draco lacks the ability to FIND things like Cedric!

If you have all the amazing tools in the world, it means nothing if you do not use them.

Some people become snooty because they say they are 'gifted'. It just means they have some great tools in their toolshed, so to speak. Some people give up on themselves and never even see what tools they possess.

If you never use what you've got, it's just as bad, if not worse, than doing nothing at all.

My dad is gifted as a handyman.

Still, everyone is gifted. EVERYONE is gifted in SOMETHING. Most of us agree with that. Having good marks doesn't make you better than anyone. That being known, and arguments are just sparking, this thread should be locked again.

I have five younger brothers and sisters myself. All of them SO much smarter than me! Especially if they continue to stay away from the military, haha.
