Pond, I don't think it's on Netflix. I know Mini-River and Mini-River's cousin haven't watched it yet 'cause they couldn't find it. It's not on Youtube... but it might e on Crossing the Whoniverse.

I watched it on Netflix, so they have it. I don't know if it is on Instant though.

Or you can search up the ending on YouTube and get the entirety of that episode's important bits in a clip that's a few minutes long. X3

I'd say watch it, since there are some people who absolutely love that episode and rank it among their favourites - it seems to be one of those 'love it or hate it' things, and it would be a shame if you skipped it and it turned out you would have really enjoyed it. It's a much lighter episode than the other specials, in both tone and content, even in places where it probably shouldn't have been; there were a few points where I expected the Doctor to go into Dark!Rage! mode, and instead he seemed completely unaffected, which seemed very out of character. I can kind of see where the writers were coming from with it, but it didn't work for me. I actually have a lot of trouble remembering that episode outside of a few snippets that particularly annoyed me (every one of which features Lady Christina, who... yeah, generally came across to me as revoltingly Mary Sue-ish).

I think I will try to read the books, then. Any favorites? There's so many, I don't know where to start!

Okay.
People who know Julian Smith's Mr. Timn must answer me this:
Who would be more zany, eccentric, and most likely blow up your head with the chipper zany irritation factor?
Mr. Timn, or the Doctor?
They are evenly matched opponents.

Thinking on it, it'd be Mr. Timn because in his 'home country' if you touch soemthing, you own it. Imagine if the Doctor falunted his sonic then Mr. Timn grabbed it, then poked the Doctor. The Doctor would have to deal with Mr. Timn claimed he owned him.

Yeah, that's how I'm getting it :3

One of my personal favourites is The Forgotten Army because it's interesting, funny, and it was also the fjrst Doctor Who novel I read :] I would also recommend Apollo 23 and Nucleur Time. (These are all 11th Doctor novels, by the way)

Read theTarget novelizations, though, too. They're older, because they're of classic episodes, but they're really good.

What would you recommend as the first Doctor Who novel to read, I haven't read any, but maybe it will fill this space I have been wanting to fill between seasons. I haven't had enough Doctor Who lately...

Starbase Typhon is a roleplay run by me, off site. It is Star Trek based (but not the new movies, as you will see) and it definetly needs people who are willing to be active, write with great grammar, and of course, are semi-literate or above. Format is play by Nova, which involves multi-person posts that are a different way of doing things that here of CS. But it's lots of fun, and we need long term people who will help us complete our missions. As the commanding officer of Typhon, I invite anyone who would like to give it a try to please apply! (Warning that quality of applications is strictly judged. Very strictly judged.) The link is in the image.

I know how you feel! I haven't watched all the Tennant episodes so I'm watching those on Netflix! Maybe you could read some fan-based Doctor Who comics? I've been wanting to see if I could find any more besides SFTT.

It should be on instantly. Or at least it was because I've never gotten any Doctor Who DVDs until season five. I was able to get everything else instant.

I thought the episode was kinda meh. Didn't hate it but didn't love it either. I think it's the only episode I haven't watched multiple times. It just wasn't that exciting.
