'Still, no one should have to go through that' she said, thinking of her pasts... 'Even if they're not alone' she added, looking at Life, wondering if she had the same scars... The doctor came in then and told Mel her leg was broken in three places... It was only two, but when she'd walked on it, she'd damaged it even more, so she'd be in a cast longer... Mel sighed and winced as they reset the bones correctly and started to wrap them... She'd been given some pretty strong pain killers, but the sound was still shudder inducing...

[Joey.]

Life cringed at every noise it made. "Oh gosh. Freaky."

[Destrie]

Mel nodded in agreement... They finished with the bulky cast, which went to her knee, and gave Mel some crutches... 'Thanks' she said, getting up and adjusting the crutches before walking out to the waiting room... 'You got a car?' she asked Life

[Joey.]

Life said. "Yeah I brought mine."

[Destrie]

Mel told Kyle she'd see him back at the ranch and walked out, going to Life's car and getting in... I wish i could do something about Alex she thought to herself guiltily... She'd started to like him, and that made her guiltier, since she was going out with Kyle, even though they'd kinda drifted apart...

[Joey.]

Life got in her black mustang and waited for her.

[Destrie]

'Ready' Mel said, buckling up

[Joey.]

She smiled and drove back to the ranch.

[Destrie]

'How long will Alex be gone?' she wondered worriedly

[Joey.]

Life said. "Don't know. Oh and never call him Alex. He goes by Alexander only." She smiled .
