Just me wondering - why is the special re-release on Dec 18th, not Dec 25 or any other day?

it was just chosen randomly in the first year and then everyone just expected it to happen again the next year so we just stuck with that date as a tradition. It really has no significance though xD

our Christmas gift (Dec 25th) is typically less exciting and lasts for more than one day (to the end of the month usually) because we expect most people will be doing other things on Christmas Day and won't have time to come on CS
