I get frustrated with the whole being into celebrities personal lives thing. It gets annoying with all the press covering personal life stuff, and really why should it effect me anyways? It's not like I'm going to meet them anyways, and I would much rather hear about how great their next movie or show is going to be. It seems a bit invasive really, I mean would you want everyone in the world knowing about your break up? I just get annoyed with it. ((Though annoyed is an understatement.)) Until Doctor Who, I didn't really even pay attention to what actors played the characters I like in shows, but with the characters changing so much on Doctor Who, you sort of have to know. But it's the only one I know who the actors are. For some reason it just doesn't seem right to get into people's personal lives, even if you are a big fan of their acting or singing or whatever-it-is-they-do.
Starbase Typhon is a roleplay run by me, off site. It is Star Trek based (but not the new movies, as you will see) and it definetly needs people who are willing to be active, write with great grammar, and of course, are semi-literate or above. Format is play by Nova, which involves multi-person posts that are a different way of doing things that here of CS. But it's lots of fun, and we need long term people who will help us complete our missions. As the commanding officer of Typhon, I invite anyone who would like to give it a try to please apply! (Warning that quality of applications is strictly judged. Very strictly judged.) The link is in the image.
