That sound you heard? That was me screaming.
If God WANTED us to be brainless piles of mush, DON'T YOU THINK HE WOULD HAVE DONE SO? No, instead we were made IN HIS IMAGE. We have brains that think. We do not follow blindly. We have a drive to explain and learn about the world around us. We have intelligence of our own unique brand; it is what sets us apart from the animals.
If you think that science is anti-Christian, you are a damned fool.
I'd better stop there before I get even angrier. But seriously, if we get on an anti-intellectual streak on here, I am going to shank EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU IN THE RIBS. ... ...in Christian love of course.

I am not saying that if you wake up and can't move you are being held by a demon, but I do believe demons exist, and can do that, if they so choose. I also find no fault in calling on the name of the Lord if you believe you are dealing with a demon, though I wouldn't assume anyone who has something strange happen is dealing with demons.

The truth comes to those who believe. ~ Rough quote from one of my favorite Christmas movies.
Truths about the world we live in come from science.

I'd like you all to pray for three of my 8th grade friends. I went to a sleepover at my friend Allyson's house (one of the three) without knowing this was going to be going on later, but sometime around 8, she said that we were going to use Wicken spells and use Pagen worship to summon\speak to ghosts\demons. I didn't actually participate, nor did I believe anything was going to happen at all, but with a bunch of failed attempts I thought she would give up. Instead she picked up one of the crystals (quartz I think) that my other friend had brought and used it as a pendelum and started asking questions to the 'ghosts' in her house, asking for the spirits to turn it one way or the other for a response. She got responses. The first time she did it, I'm not really sure what happened, but she got really weak and shaky and we had to help her downstairs, she almost fainted. As soon as she regained her bearings, she wanted to do it again! We refused to try it again for her safety any more. The next day, after her mom had left the house to go into town (she lives in the country) she decided we were going to do it again because she wanted to figure out what had happened to the spirit and why it was in her house. We did some research after she asked her questions and she and 2 of my other friends that had been there asked what was supposedly another spirit about its identity. When it gave completely different answers than the 'little boy' we had just 'contacted', they decided there were at least 3 different spirits in the house. I would've left early except my parents didn't answer the phone and didn't know how to get to her house. I just pray that she doesn't keep trying to contact the 'spirits' and neither do the other two that participated in it. Thank you!
I know this issue holds quite a bit of controversy, but I advise against praying for her.
If this is what she believes in you shouldn't try and pray to have her change her faith. She shouldn't pressure you into joining in against your will, but she should be allowed to practice her faith as she wants to. If she is a Wicca and practices Wicca you should not pray for her to convert away from this belief system, it is rude and disrespectful.
Unless she has asked for you to pray for her or you have asked and she has agreed it is unkindly. A word of advice, do not ever pray for someone who is not of the same religion unless they have agreed to it or specifically asked for it. I'm sure you wouldn't enjoy having a Satanist pray for you to convert some time soon and pray for you to stop worshi[pping God because they believe it unsafe for you. If this is what she genuinely believes in then let her be, please.
