Yes I know that she's very young. That's why I don't want her to have too many. Her mom had her first litter at about 8 months and it was a litter of 3. I would have loved if she were at least 10 months.
Well once all of the kittens are weaned off of the milk my dad says we'll give them all away. (My bff wants like 2) He doesn't want any more cats. In fact he was planning to get her spayed soon and then this happened. *sigh* Either way I'm still happy that she's pregnant.

If her health gets in the way I'll become the one to take care of her kittens. I think she'll be a great mama.

I'm actually surprised no one has said anything yet. Your cat is too young to have kittens, considering she's still a kitten herself. You really should have thought about her health first. /: Plus, if she does have say a lot of kittens (mine came from a litter of 10) what are you going to do with all of them? Please don't say sell... -.-
And personally, I would've gone to a shelter for more kittens if that's what you wanted. There's many there already, but yeah.

Excuse me for butting in, but even though her mother was a young mother that doesnt make it ok for your cat to as well. Its bad for her body to deal with so much, when she probably isnt even full grown yet. Its wrong.

Ok, now I'm getting slightly worried.

I can't help that she's pregnant now. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Why didn't she get neutered when she was younger? I have a male kitten and although he is an indoors cat, he'll be spayed in a month or so, when he's old enough.

Well I guess my parents thought she wouldn't get pregnant at that age.

Besides it's my cat. Please don't gang up on me.

We're not trying to gang up on you, we're trying to get you to understand why it's bad. A cat doesn't finish growing for at least a year in a half to two years, and that's mentally just as much as physically. Think about it this way, a human can get pregnant very young right? But what age should they for the best health of the child and mother? At least 20 years, and that's pushing it in some cases.
Same concept really, just because it can, doesn't mean it should.
I'm not trying to be mean, but wishing that on her is just wrong. Regardless though, it did happen, so you should make sure she gets the best vet care possible. Have everything checked out, and fix her kittens before giving them away. (They can be fixed at 2 lbs, age doesn't matter. That's actually a myth for both dogs and cats.) And fix her after she's down nursing them.
Also, how'd she get pregnant? You let her roam outside? I would be concerned for the kittens too then because you don't know who the father is, and with cats, there could be even multiple fathers...

Currently Looking for Lions and Bunnies that I don't have. Offer trades please.

Well I couldn't really stop her. She's an inside/outside cat so she just gets cooped up and won't stop meowing until I let her out. And I probably won't let the kittens out until like 3 months so that they learn to do their business outside. I would rather they did it in a litter box, but thats some what out of the question (don't ask why). Thats just how it is where I live. All people do that so I know it might be hard but they'll survive.
Multipul fathers? That's just wrong, but very possible.
I'm not trying to punish her by hoping that she'd get pregnant. I was just excited. Don't get me wrong... I'm concerned too. Please understand that I know this isn't the greatest thing in the world, even though my estatic posts make it seem like it. I'm just probably too excited that she's pregnant. She's actually my first female cat. So yeah I'm a little nerdy over her. My sister says that I worry over her like a mother worries over her child.

Okay maybe... but I just kinda wanted her to live a full life. I suppose I just don't want her ending up like my last cat. I'm not looking for sympathy, just telling the story.
