He leaned in until we were nose to nose, and just then I could see and feel admiration in his eyes.
"I love you." He would say convincingly. I felt a chill go up my spine when he gently pressed his lips to mine.
"I love you too, but we don't have time. Love is limited now, and that's that." I reply honestly and softly.
"Don't say that. Love is unlimited and had no boundaries, no matter what twist ends up in there. Don't lose hope. Please." He said, making me melt with his intoxicating voice. I could feel his steady heartbeat when I put my hands above his chest. He gently took away my hand and kissed my knuckle, holding it with his own cold, damp hand after he did.

I gasped. The Chicken smoothie moderators had chosen me to be the mom of the 2nd Gen pups. Now they were choosing the dad of the pups. I closed my eyes and thought of Jasper. I hoped he would be chosen to be the dad of my pups. They called out a name that I didn't hear at first. I heard the name ripple around the crowd. "Jasper!" I said happily. I couldn't wait! Jasper and I ran up to each other and touched noses. Then we set off towards the stage where we would get our instructions.

Should I continue?

I will continue even though no one responded.

It was 2 month after we had been chosen. I had 4 little pups in purple and red blankets snoozing next to me. I prodded my favorite little pup. She looked like me and Jasper. I suddenly looked up from my musings and turned to Jasper. "Lets name them" I said smiling at him. "You get two I will get two." Jasper smiled back and said "You first." "Jessica" I said without hestation. "Our names together" I said when Jasper gave me a questioning look.
"And this is Anne Marie" I said pointing at the purple pup that looked so much like me.Jasper gave me a playful push. "My turn" He said touching a pup with a lightning bolt on the blanket "Thor. After the god of Lighting and Thunder." "And the last one?" I said looking at the last pup. She was unsaul. She had wings and looked like she was glowing. Me and Jasper said at the same time. "Angel!"

I looked down at my 3 pups running and playing. Then I looked at Thor. Sickly and weak, he hadn't grown into pup size yet. Anne Marie, Jessica and Angel were engaged in a hand game.
Jasper was out shopping. I hear Jasper drive up to the driveway then I hear a shot. Then I hear a scream and heavy footsteps running away from the house. I tell Angel "Stay inside and keep quiet." I creep outside and a terrible sight greets me. Jasper is lying on the ground bleeding to death. "Stay still Jasper I can fix you up!" I scream frantically. "Don't waste your time. I am going to die. Bring out our daughters." I ran outside and grabbed my children. I pushed them outside where Jasper was saying his goodbyes. I pick up Thor and run outside. " Thor.. My only son.... You will never know what I was like. Unless...." Jasper Lifted his paw and pricked Thor's finger. He mixed his and Thor's blood together and anoited him with it. "You are me and I am gone. Keep your name but my spirt. I will encourge you in your darkest moment." With that Jasper laid down his head and breathed in his final breath. He was gone. Gone forever. NO!! Jasper.. you can't... can't just die! Come back!!! Jasper come back!" I howled desperalty. The girls chimed in. Thor just looked at us all, a hopeless mess. He lifted up his head and spoke his first word, first sentence. "Momma? Poppa is still here. In here. He patted his chest. He started to glow and didn't look that sickly anymore. I saw what Jasper did. Thor had Jasper's Strength.

It had been 6 months since Jasper died. I still cry myself to sleep at night. But the pups have grown up and have matured. Thor has grown and is exactly like his father. I can't even tell the diffrent of their voices. I still keep a voicemail Jasper sent me just before he died.
