(Yay!)
Falon
Falon yawned, walking out of his den. He saw Kasi and Nixon sitting on their respective rocks and aimed towards them. "Hey guys," he said, stifling another yawn. "I`m gonna go for a walk, okay? I should be back before midday, probably earlier." He walked off into the forest beyond, orange fur sticking out vibrantly in the gray of early morning.
Sari
Sari was crouched, hardly breathing, staring intently at the rabbit. She had stalked it from it`s den when it`s soft tread and the protesting squeaks of it`s young awoke her before the sun. She had smelled it, considered killing it, and decided against it. She was still satisfied from the bird she had caught before lying down to sleep. But she could never pass up a prime stalking opportunity, so she rolled over and shook the sleep from her as silently as possible. She padded behind the rabbit, staying downwind and out of sight. After a few minutes, the rabbit back-tracked and stopped to eat directly in front of the bush Sari was hiding in. That`s where she was now. Her mouth watered at the thought of fresh rabbit, but as she thought of the baby rabbits that would surely die if this one did, she couldn`t bring herself to do it. Hearing a twig snap close behind her, both she and the rabbit froze. She could smell the scent she had missed before because of her focus on the rabbit. She stuck her head out of the bush quickly, scaring the rabbit into running, before she whipped around and growled.
Falon
Falon backed up quickly as the she wolf growled at him. Quite a few thoughts were running through his head right now such as;
Did she just purposely scare off food? Who is she? and
How did I not notice her until now? He backed off some more and lowered his head, trying to be as calm and nonthreatening as possible. He walked backwards, eyes on his paws, until he could no longer hear the wolf growling. He looked up. He was only about fifteen feet away. She had stopped growling, and apparently distance is hard to judge going backwards.
Sari
Sari watched the wolf back up. She stopped growling and waited for his reaction. He didn`t appear as a threat, but he smelled of other wolves, which suggested that he was in a pack. What was he doing in loner territory? When he looked up, he seemed surprised. She kept her face emotionless, and decided that he really was in a pack, in which case he needed to leave. She stared at him until he was nervously shifting from side to side. Finally she barked, in a quite but harsh voice, "Leave, now. Go back to your pack, and if I see you again, you may not be so lucky as to be ordered off. You may be returned as a corpse." The strange wolf turned and fled.
