"We can always try." Antonio said with a little smile, still holding Erica close to his chest. He glanced at the window, still hearing the dull tapping of water against the window, it didn't look like it was going to stop any time soon. They were warm and safe in here... in fact there was no safer place, that was exactly why they were sent here so they couldn't get out. He had always wondering why they were the unlucky few that got trapped in here, plenty of other people had exerienced worse but none of them suffered from this. "Well now that we have our story what do you want to do?" he asked, looking around the rather empty room, you weren't left with much to do here.

Selenite

Nite glared, pale blue eyes going icy. She didn't appreciate being called honey, it was too endearing a term for anyone to use with her let alone someone she had just met. "Yes you must be." she agreed through clenched teeth to keep herself from saying anything more. Nite drew in a few deep breaths to calm herself again, but her posture was still quite stiff.

Karl noticed the girls change of tone and shifted quietly. "Obviously Ive stricken a nerve. Forgive me." he said, dipping his head to be polite. "So, what is it that you do for fun? Ive found myself in a bit of a bunch here, with nothing to do but stare at the wall."

Erica

Erica smiled and closed her eyes listening to the regular beat of Antonio's heart. She tilted her head up slightly as he spoke and shrugged. "Not sure really, I'd be fine with just sitting here and talking or something like that. I don't know..." she trailed off not really sure what they could do. That was the thing about asylums when it rained. There really wasn't much to do but sit and sit and sit some more.

Selenite

Nite smiled slightly, he was alright, she could forgive his use of a more personal term. Besides he didn't know it annoyed her, how could he? "No no it's fine I just prefer to be called Nite and not names like honey or my dear and such." she replied. There now he knew. "Fun? Hah, you can fun around here? That's news to me. I don't know I just got here today pretty much."

Antonio gave a little smile, just wanting to keep her close. He ran his hands through her hair, very content to just play with it, curling it around his finger. He had never thought he actually take interest in a girl, last time he had been out of here he had been laughing with his dad over how he thought girl's had cooties, in truth he hadn't though that, he had been fourteen, but he had still had now interest in them. How old was he now? Eighteen? Nineteen, he had lost count after the first couple years and now this girl meant everything to him. "I'm happy here too." he said happily, looking at the rain covered window. "I love the rain." he added, knowing it was a pointless comment, but rainy days was now something he enjoyed.

Erica

Erica smiled as she felt him playing with her hair, she didn't mind. It felt nice and sent tingles along her spine. She nodded at his words, "I like the rain too, the noise is so calming." The pitter patter of the rain on the windows was a relaxing noise. This had to be the only time she'd ever felt so comfortab;e and completely at ease. Nothing upset her, not even the soft murmurs of her voices could get to her right now. Her eyes drifted halfway closed, as she daydreamed about what life with Antonio outside of this place would be like. They'd get there someday, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but someday. She sighed contentedly and shifted slightly in his arms before relaxing back against him once more.

Antonio leaned back into the couch, feeling rather tired himself. He held Erica close in his arms, giving the door a quick glance, he was glad the Doctor hadn't arrived yet, he didn't want to deal with him right now. It would be just the moment to ruin him and Erica's moment though. Antonio could have counted down to the knock on the door and without an invitation Dr. Smiley stepping in. Antonio sat back up with a dishearted sigh, shaking Erica awake with him. "How are you too doing?" the Doctor said with his usual fake smile, Antonio couldn't help but find it ironic that he was called Smiley if he never seemed to really smile.

Erica

Erica's eyes snapped open as Anotion sat up shaking her slightly. Her eyes instantly went to Smiley's face and the voices blared louder in her mind making her wince and instinctively shrink back against Antonio. She didn't like it when the Doctor came around, her voices always got worse with him around. "Fine, I'm fine." Erica murmured softly staring at her lap not looking at Smiley.

[Jericho]

.:Jenny:.

"He won't open it." Jenny said crossly, but just at that moment there was a click as the door opened and the Doctor stepped in, as calm and casual as though he were walking into his own house... and in a way it was. Jenny glared at him, her eyes cold as she got to her feet forgetting Jax "You owe me big time if this was one of your stupid 'experiments." she snarled her eyes angry and cold, but Smiley simply ignored her, more concerned with the subject on the floor. "You aren't quiet as bright as I expected. These locks are controlled by electricity... Why didn't you simply use the tazor to over ride it?" the Doctor asked, the circutes would easily break with a large enough electric shock, that was how Jenny opened the door ahead of time, he had needed to know she wouldn't give that little secret away.

Antonio smiled at her, that light feeling returning to his head. It still amazed him that this was all real, that this living hell had something good to it. He rested his forehead against Erica's temple. His breath brushing her ear as he spoke, "Erica..." he whispered, loving the name, just because it belonged to her. "I love you." he added, closing his eyes for a moment as he gathered his breath, trying to keep every moment of this cemented in his memory. He hated to think they would have to leave things like this out once they were out of her and telling their story to real people.

Jax jumped to his feet grabbing Smiley by the front of his shirt and slamming him backward into the wall before letting go and bolting at the door that had been left open behind Smiley. He shot down many halls then skidded to a stop not knowing where the exit was. "Calm down Jax its just another forest....." he whispered to himself focusing on the patterns in the halls. He had onl a few minutes before they found him and stopped him. He would be good as gone by then...

((I know it's now been made slightly confusing but these are two different times. Antonio and Erica are talking to Smiley early in the morning and Jax is talking to him from the night before.

.:Antonio Wing:.

Antonio took Erica's hand, giving it a supportive squeeze to try and reassure her, she seemed scared of Smiley. "We've been very happy in here together. How about you?" he said sweetly, though hostility was thinly veiled behind it. He held Erica close, thinking the Doctor might try and take her away from him. The Doctor looked down at his clipboard not answering Antonio's question. "As for your health and you mental condition. Have you been feeling ill? Any losing it since I last saw you?" he asked, looking through his small square glasses at the young couple.

Doctor Smiley sighed as the boy took off down the hall. He spotted the electrical plug and snapped his fingers. For a moment the Doctor's perfectly smooth black hair stood on end, sparking with electricity, only for a moment though, well him and Jax were the only ones to see. Lightning and high voltage shot from the plug and straight for Jax, sending watt after watt of electricity coursing through him, enough to easily knock someone out and kill someone weak. Smiley knew well this boy was strong, the shock wouldn't kill him but it would teach him a lesson, and not one soon forgotten.
