What's a Nyoka?

Nyoka means 'snake' in Swahili. They got this name from the fact that they are poisonous and that they are bound to snakes. Each Nyoka is bonded to one snake and one snake only.

All Nyoka are covered with short fur.
Male Nyoka have manes that vary from a horse's mane to the mane of a lion.
Usually Nyoka have tuffs of fur on their tails. Often, males will have more tuffs than females. Sometimes females will have no tuffs at all.

Nyoka's fur colors and markings are shades of tan, grey, black, white, brown, yellow, and sometimes reddish colors.
Male Nyoka's mane is usually a dark color.

Their eyes can be any color at all. Often, though, their eye color will be a darker shade of their fur.

Every Nyoka MUST be bound to a snake. If you need help with the snake's markings, pm me and I'll help you.

How hard would it he to become eligible to create one of these? They seem like very unique, interesting characters, and I would love to be able to create on of my own.
