My Sintry is smaller than my Civil. I was worried at first, but I think it's just because Civil has a huge sweet tooth and Sin doesn't :3

Not to me, my Mini Ryu is thinner than Mijumaru, even though she's older, and I know they both eat. Ryu is just smaller, and she always has been lean, its probably just her build.

Also, I have a question.
Which rats are cuddlier? Males, females, or neither.
I've only ever had females because that's all that's available down here due to the petstores only selling same sex ones, and they're aren't any ratteries. The girls I've had never sen to want to cuddle, just sit on my shoulder or run around. Is it because they're females and more energetic? Or could it just be their temperament. I've heard people say that females are more high energy and a little more detached, but I don't know if its true.

All help is appreciated.

Males are way more cuddlier. Females tend to be more active as they grow up; males do the opposite. ;)

Yea, females are the hyper-active ones, and usually would rather run then sit in your lap. Not saying they won't be as attached to you though, when I would let me little one around she'd dash away, and look behind her, and if she could barely see me she'd come racing back. Males tend to be a bit more laid-back, and would do with a nice belly rub every now and again.

You always check local rescues or craigslist. I found two of my girls from a rescue, and the other from a breeder.

How would someone get a rat from Craigslist in Asia?
They wouldn't ship the poor rat to me from the USA, would they? D:
(BTW, I'm not asian- I moved here from US. Just sayin'.)

I disagree about girls not being cuddly and boys being the cuddly of the two. Any rat that's been handled from a young age is going to be more friendly. If you go to a pet shop they won't have been handled.... whereas if you went to somewhere like a good rescue that handled them, you're probably going to get lovely ratties. Some of my most cuddly rats have been girls. Some of the most playful have been boys. It depends on the rattie, the background.... not the gender really.
Not trading.

My girls are super attached to me, and so were the rats I've had before, which were all girls, so that wasn't really the problem. So why I mentioned it I don't know XD

You would honestly be surprised how hard it is to find a breeder, or rescue of anything other than dogs/cats within and hour of where I am in Georgia -.-' Plus, I don't think my mom will let me get another rat anytime soon. I was just checking for future reference.

And as to what Rachael said, that was another thing I was wondering about. I've been doing some research in radical behaviorism and genetics and such, which states that environment as well as genes determines the personality and actions. So, gender does impact some of it, but it isn't everything.
