"Let's head back, love," Skullduggery said, gracefully climbing off her prone form. "Or else I might get the urge to attack you again," he winked.

Thanatos sat where he was and waited; which of them was the alpha? He sighed inwardly. He wondered if there even was one, and were they even a good leader? He snorted, turning his head to scratch an itch on the base of his wing.

Tand started to slow down, and perked her ears up. "I think I hear something, Daze." she said. She stopped walking and listened. She heard panting..and paws on the ground. "They must be nearby."

"Perhaps." Daze nodded. "Let's go then." He flicked his ears. "Lead the way, then, Tand." He smiled at her, then stopped, so she could lead them to where she heard the noises. All he heard were squirrels. Rather, squirrels didn't pant... so he must be hearing wolves.

Kavi rolled to her feet, then nodded. Her face completely serious, she said, "And we wouldn't want that, now would we." With a pompous nod, she raised her nose into the air, and strutted off quite exaggeratedly. The wrong way. When she realized this, she stopped, turned on the spot, and strutted back towards camp, flashing a smile at Skull as she passed, then returning her look to the overly serious one she wore as a mask, her face almost bursting from trying to hold her laughter in.

Laughing, Skullduggery joined her, trotting in a stuck up, preppy fashion with his eyes shut, mouth pursed, and nose & tail high in the air, his wings tucked carefully on his back.

Kavi took one look at Skull and dissolved into laughter. She collapsed onto the ground and rolled around for a bit, then just lay there, panting, a grin on her face. She jumped up. "Quite droll, quite." She said, in some kind of odd Russian/British/European accent, as she made an attempt to rearrange her face to the pompousness she had attempted before.

Skullduggery grinned and, taking two experimental beats of his wings, rose unsteadily into the air until the motions became more solid. He flew directly over her and picked her up, quickly gaining altitude and soaring over the trees, extending his wings fully as he glided gently. This was going to make his wing hurt, but it was ok. It needed the reconditioning.

Tand nodded and then ran towards the direction of the noises. She heard it getting closer and closer, and then she stopped quickly and hid behind a large tree. "Shhh, we're here.. They are just past these trees," she said quietly, looking back at Daze.

The male snarled, to himself. "What is your business here, Thanatos?'' He asked, coolly.

Thanatos looked up quickly at Soul, feigning being startled. He knew about this pack; he'd been watching them for a long time. He made sure to keep his mind clear and blank, except for the last-moment decisions of what he was going to say. "Hello," the dragon-wolf said calmly, his tone even somewhat friendly as he smiled at the male in front of him. "I wish to speak with your Alpha. I've been a loner for a very long time and have been looking for my half brother Skullduggery. I care for him very much, so I would like to stay in the same pack to make sure he's alright; it was my mother's dying wish."

Kavi gasped as he picked her up, then grinned. "Skull!" She called. "I love you!" She rubbed her head against his neck, then gazed down at the trees flashing by below them. A small bird popped up next to them, then cheeped in surprise, and quickly flapped away. Kavi burst out laughing.

Daze nodded, and threw his cloaking mechanism around them. "Kay, you're all protected from mind and aura readers." He whispered, then stretched. "They know us, and accepted us into their pack already. We don't have to worry. C'mon." He stepped out into the open, half waiting for them.
