Kias---------Aoi Naiya

Aoi Naiya walked down the hall of the castle, her ears flicking and her eyes shining. She rounded the corner and headed down some stairs, arriving in the courtyard. She still walked on, coming to the gate, which the gatemaster was opening. She waited patiently, then was astounded to see a single knight standing there, smoke curling around him and ash smudging his fur and armor. "What happened?" She gasped as the knight walked in. "The dragon....He killed them all..." He said, his violet eyes wide with shock. Aoi Naiya smiled sadly, looking into his eyes. "It's okay. You managed to live...how did you do it?" She asked, her yellowish eyes gleaming. "Come to my quarters, i'd like to hear your story."

Aoi Naiya strolled down the hall, walking into the Knights' Quarters. She scratched at the door with her paw, smiling as the knight opened the door. "Hello, Kias. I was wondering if you wanted to go on a walk." Kias smiled, nodding. He stepped out the door, carefully closing it behind him. Aoi Naiya walked beside Kias, noticing that his fur was still smudged with ash. "I have a special place I want to show you. Follow me!" She giggled, running ahead as Kias ran after her. They soon arrived at a small glen, where the trees grew tall and the grass was long and a beautiful shade of green. She stopped at one of the trees, turning to Kias. "I wanted to let you know....." She started, looking deep into his light violet eyes. "I will always be here for you when you need me. And that you are very brave for warding off the dragon. If you wouldn't have done that, we--" She was cut off as Kias came close to her, and she blushed deeply. Kias smiled. "Aoi, I have something to say too." He looked into her eyes for a moment, then said. "I love you." Aoi Naiya blushed deeper. "I love you too." She murmured, nuzzling his cheek.

Kika ♀ Malore ♂

The female puppy looked around her cage all scared. A Male looked at her with a scarred face. "dont worry they wont put you in this early" He said in a deep voise. The female Looked through the bars of the cage. "where are we?" She spoke in a soft voise. The male looked at her "Well the dog fighting rings of course" he said in a deeper dark voise. She shook with fear. What she had hoped not to do was becoming true. The humans walked by her cage and opend it and took her out. She was set in the dog fighting ring. Everyone had money on the other dog but she mannaged to kill it. They took her back with lots of money in their pockets and put her back next to the male. "you made it." the male said. She looked confused "whats your name?" she asked sadly. "my name is Malore but you can call me Mal. Whats yours?" He asked. The female pup looked at him "my name is Kika."

Years later Kika was one of the best fighters along with Mal.

Kika looked at Mal as he came out of the ring with a few more scars. "how was this fight?" She looked at him her voise had matured alot and she had to smiled at him each time she saw him. He was really handsome underneith all those scars. "well it was not any harder than the last" he chuckled in his dark voise. He took a quick glance at her but looked away again hiding his feeling. Something happend that day and he felt something in his chest move. He felt like all he could see was kika and he would fight all those dogs just to keep her alive. Mal leaned agained his cage some on his fur was in her cage. Kika she had to smiled at her self. She saw the man come with the rodding stick and she whinced in fear she licked mal's fur out of fear. Mal looked at her with worry. "dont worry kika you'll win this fight." he said and she nodded lightly. She came back her small frail face was semi tore up and bloody she panted in her cage her nose between the bars of the cages. Mal looked at her and licked her nose. "i love you kika" he whisped. Kika has heard him and whisperd "i want to run away with you and share my life with you."

Kika looked at all the cages all that were left was hers and mals. "what do they do now?" she asked in a scared voise. Mal looked at her with intence worry. "i dont know my love." That was it, they knew what was coming. The day they would have to fight to the death. They were both put in the ring. He looked at her and she looked at him. "kika what ever happends today i want you to run and run and never look back." he said to her. She looked at him tear whelling in her eyes "no you cant leave me i wont let you." she said. With that he leaped at her and bit down on her throat. She looked at him with wild eyes "kill me and you will soon die and we will be together then in heaven and nothing can stop us." She nodded and bit down on his throat killing him and she layed there as she looked her last breath. Looking down at there bodies they were both smiling. They were in a better place now...

I instantly thought of these two as a pair when I saw the staff pup grow, and I wanted to post a happy pair instead of a tragic story, for once<'3

I clawed at the grey gritty pavement with nails that I had chewed down to the stubs, and bleeding and cracked fingers. The skin that covered my hands was no longer it's fresh pale colour, but was stained red with blood. I couldn't even make out the two very dark freckles that rested upon the top of both of my hands. Loud and strained sobs wracked all through my body as I tried to push my small body away from him. I was too weak to do it. I knew that. He knew that. But I had to try, I had to. I couldn't let myself fall into death's cradle.

A penny for my thoughts, oh no, I'll sell them for a dollar
They're worth so much more after I'm a goner

Somehow I had gotten back into my feet, but my scabbed and bare knees only smacked against the hard ground soon after I stumbled over my own feet. I could hardly see through the dried blood, and tears that clouded over my violet eyes. A scream tore itself up from the chest and out my throat as a beefy hand grabbed a fist full of my black hair and harshly tugged me backwards. I was brought to my knees for a moment before I was thrown onto my back. I heard and sickening crack as my skull met the pavement. A warm and thick red substance quickly began to seep through my hair.

"P..P..P-please.." I pleaded hopelessly. I didn't want to end up like those other girls. I remember hearing about their murders on the television. How they were strangled, how he raped their dead bodies.. mutilated and burned them. I couldn't.. I want to go to University. I want to marry someone. I want my Papa to walk my down the isle. I want to give birth and see my child's smiling face..
"Shh. It'll be alright. I'll take good care of you." He cooed in his deep and throaty voice. I felt sick to my stomach as he pushed my hair back and placed a kiss upon my forehead. I wanted to cry more, but my body seemed to have of given up on that, and focused it's energy on trying to do something about the blood the rushed out of the back of my head.

I looked up towards the dark night sky. Trying to memorize what it looked like. The way the stars shimmered around the earth like a thick blanket, and how the night sky wasn't all dark.. how there was a dark blue off to the left and a lighter blue off to the right. Life was so unique and special. So many of us take it for granted. I know I did. Now.. now I wish I didn't. Now I wished I didn't lock myself in my room all day on the computer. Ignoring my friends and family. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even notice that I'm gone. A heavy tiredness suddenly hung over my body, I struggled to keep myself away but with time.. I gave up. I stopped struggling. I stopped trying to keep myself awake. I let that man win. I let death win.
