Just as rare as the others, but it's harder to trade for because everyone loves it and is hoarding it.

Exactly same rarity as others. Uncommon. I got 3. But its very pretty so its demand is making it worth much more than its not as pretty littermates.

All staff dogs are the same rarity, but people expect you to pay an arm and a leg for the phoenix PPS.

About a day and a half ago, a few hours before the phoenix pup came out. I'd just updated it with all the pups so far and figured, "Why not?" Because leaving random confessions hidden about the place for people to find is fun. ^^

I'm glad people like the pup - I really enjoyed drawing her and adding in little details here and there, and it was interesting to see people's guesses on her. :3 I've never really drawn to a pre-set palette before, so it was a new experience to work with a specific set of colours. ^^

I'm not really sure why everyone is so surprised, while all the staff dogs have had the same uncommon official rarity, every staff litter has some outcomes which are loved by hoarders, therefore making them harder to get and pushing their trading values up much more than their 'true' value, for 2009 it was the Shima longtail & Malk mutant, for 2010 it was the Mermalk & dino PPS, looks like this year the Phoenix PPS is set to be a mass hoard pet for many users. If these are hoarded the same way as previous years pets I can't really see the values dropping quickly.

Eventing does include show jumping, cross country, and dressage...and maybe we will see a Grand Champion..fingers crossed =)
