"No really, I've got it," Ayumi said, smiling softly at the maid, allowing her children to feed. She took a sip from the drink, and, feeling parched, drank half of it in one gulp. Still, she suspected nothing, though she did start to feel kind of... Funny.

The maid gave a phony smile, and walked away, knowing at least Ayumi would be poisoned, as Caleb entered. "Hello Ayumi." He said in a soft voice, and hoisted Camille out of the crib. She cooed a bit, and made baby sounds, but not much, other than that.

"Hi," Ayumi said, smiling softly at Caleb, holding Clow close as she fed him. She felt more and more different as time went on. She couldn't explain the feeling, jus different.

"Is something the matter?" Caleb asked gently. Ayumi seemed a bit... off. He couldn't put his finger on what exactly.... but it was just, something.

Voldemort grinned as he oversaw his Death Eaters rounding up merpeople in Sapphire Lake. They tried to fight back, put they were rounded up and sent to a lake created by Voldemort's Ministry.

"I don't know. I just feel strange now," Ayumi said, shrugging lightly. Her mind had completely forgotten about the drink the servant had gotten her earlier.

Caleb suspiciously narrowed his eyes, but still protectively held Camille. He would keep an eye on Ayumi, just to make sure, because she seemed ill. Camille started crying, and Clow curiously stared at his father. Caleb successfully comforted his daughter, and placed the small child back in the crib she shared with her brother.

Madam Mallory, Head of the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, was tied up, forced to watch as the Death Eaters cruelly rounded up the merpeople at the lake. "Please! No! Don't..." She begged. Using his Legilimency, he saw that Mallory was a member of the Order of the Phoenix. "Give me the location of some of your fellow Order members. Like... the Harts? Then, the filthy creatures will be spared." He struck a deal, with a agitated voice, his wand pointed to the witch's neck. Madam Mallory gulped. That would be betrayal! She glanced at the Death Eaters, as the horribly harmed the innocent merpeople. "Fine!" She complied.

Ayumi smiled at Clow. He seemed to have finished eating so she put him beside his sister, smiling at him. Not soon after, she fell to the ground, passed out from the poison.

Caleb spun around, hearing Ayumi collapse. He saw her, looking quite ill, and passed out. "No! Ayumi!" He yelled, and Adalina, the maid, entered the room. "Whatever happened?" She said in an obviously phony voice. Sensing this, Caleb turned from Ayumi to the maid, pointing his wand to her neck. "How do I cure her? I swear, you lovesick maid.... How?" She looked at him with fear, assembling her story in her head. After a moment, the wand began to touch her skin hard. "Well?" He asked, and she acted on impulse. She simply smiled, grabbing a sharp silver knife out of her gown, instead of her wand, and repeatedly stabbed herself. Caleb looked on in horror, and realized that Adalina's revenge would be that he would be framed for the crime, and possibly discovered by the Death Eaters. He looked at Ayumi, and realized also that by killing herself, the chance of knowing the counter spell would die too.

Ayumi continued to lay passed out on the floor, slowly dying from the poison. She only had a while to think, and god she was glad she didn't give the formula to her babies, understnading now what had happened.

Madam Mallory's dead body fell to the ground, Voldemort putting his wand away, a crooked smile on his face, having deduced the location of several Order members. She sacrificed herself, and her loyalty, for the merpeople. "Alright, fine. Let go of the filthy half-breeds!" He ordered, and the Death Eaters instantly did. "First, find Louise Riddle and her boyfriend, Cepheus Black, in London." He said, and a squad of Death Eaters headed there. Ironically, Louise and Caleb were descended from Voldemort, he knew.

Louise looked up as the sky got darker, after watering some magical flowers in her garden. "Cepheus! They're here!" She yelled.

Caleb looked defeated. "No! No, No, No, NO!" He screamed.
