I'd like a movie. I havn't been disappointed with new who and I'm sure they'd make it good. The only thing I'd be worried about is if they tried to make it for American audiences... See Red Dwarf USA, see Torchwood - miracle day... See all the other examples of them taking something great and changing what makes it funny and changing it to just being weird. Ps I think jack is great so I still enjoyed all the moments with him in it.

On another note I got a song really stuck in my head today. In last of the time lords the master sings along to track 3! All day long that was going over and over in my head. I can't decide, it's got such a fun and quirky beat. I couldn't tell anyone the song cause it's kind not good if you don't get the joke and such. Anyway I still got it in my head now. Someone awhile back said they had friends that liked glee well I like glee too but I never laughed so long and had a glee song stuck in my head for so long.
He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing... the fury of the Time Lord... and then we discovered why. Why this Doctor, who had fought with gods and demons, why he had run away from us and hidden. He was being kind...

I think a Who movie could be quiet good. I wouldn't want one from the classic Who though. It needs to stay as it is xD I suppose it would depend on the story line

I'm just going to sit in my America corner and not say anything...

I'm doing NaNoWriMo and at all the write ins I go to, there's at least one other Who fan. It's insane. Just tonight, we were talking about wearing silly hats and someone said they were going to wear a fez and then someone else said, "Fezes are cool." At another one, someone kept using the word "Exterminate," and then someone else said, "Regenerate," so I made a random comment about Daleks and Doctor Who and everyone in the room just started talking about Doctor Who. It was awesome.

Also, I was at Starbucks with a friend, who wanted me to translate something from German. So I said I'd give it a shot and there was something about "six hearts" written in their and my buddy asked, "So it's about six people then?" I said, "No. It's about three Time Lords." And a random stranger cheered for that. Sadly, what I was reading had nothing to do with Time Lords, but it's the first thing I thought of with "six hearts." But Who fans are everywhere. Lurking around every corner. Under every table. And then you say "Time Lord" and they jump out at you with a fez and a bow tie.

That's the end of Journey's End Last of the Time Lords, if you must know. RTD says he wants that to be the case, but Julie keeps saying it's impossible and it isn't canon. So no one knows, really, but most want it to be true. XD

Fixed it for you.

Red Dwarf is pretty dreadful, and not in the pleasant way either.

I would post defending a few gems of American TV, but I won't.
(*COugh cough* Arrested Development *cough*)

Anyway.

Is it bad that it took me a moment to get the joke? It just seems so obvious that the TARDIS could fit a few conference rooms in it - my first thought was actually "Shouldn't they have a map so people don't get lost in there?"

That what I think after laughing too. Then again, it could be like other conferences? I don't know, but they tend to be big and confusing.

Just to clarify, I don't have a problem with American TV. I don't watch a hell of a lot of it, because I'm a huge ABC snob and they mostly just play things from the BBC, but still.

I don't like American remakes though. With the exception of The Office. Real Red Dwarf is so bad it's good (like all 80s BBC scifi XD) and is a wonderful gateway drug to the world of science fiction. The remake[s] was [/were] shocking though. Really really bad.

Mm, I'm from America and I do like some of the TV here, but when it comes to re-making things.. no, just.. no.

On the subject of a Doctor Who movie, I'm not really that excited for it. Thinking about it just makes me think of an American Doctor Who series, which kind of scares me. Why do they need to make another movie anyway?

Chain then to a chair and make them watch all episodes in order! [Will take a few days...] and thne when it's finished, and they are sleeping, play the cyber-stomps to wake them up. From that moment on they should love DW! [...or they will be petrified of it... But oh well!]

Lol but its worth a try! Have you watched all the episodes?

All from 9th doctor onwards & some older stuff. :)
