Venompaw blinked in surprise. Then he got to his paws shakily. "Wow," he mewed in surprise. "I've never done that before..."

I sit up and purr. "Good job" I mew

Venompaw closes his eyes in pleasure at the praise. "Thanks Robinwing," he mewed back licking his paws and drawing them over his ears.

I smile 'Alright Robinwing, what to do now?' I think to myself. "We will work on speed now" I meow softly "Run as fast as you can to that tree and back to me" I flick with my tail to a tree my a small stream.

Venompaw's eyes widened, but he nods and races to the tree and runs back to Robinwing, his chest heaving.

I nod "Good" I say softly "While your running keep your head low and your ears pinned" I continue "Also keep your tail straight if you want to go faster"

Venompaw nodded, and then did as his mentor instructed as he raced to the tree and back, but this time his legs had begun to ache.

"Great!" I say, impressed.
