Dear Diary,
Here's the rest...
We were all sitting down on the roof, wings relaxed. Eric turned around, his eyes nearly covered by his hair, to look at me and Flossy. 'Someone knocked on my apartment door last night. He said he had come to speak to me about the whole growing wings thing. He said that we were chosen to help fight the Erdef of Amaroeth. And then he left.'
Flossy and I stared at him. Yea he was hot, but he was insane. Flossy then burst out laughing. 'I get it! It's all one big joke!'
Eric looked at her, trying not to growl. 'Its not a joke.'
I back and forth between them. 'Flo, I don't think he's joking.' I whispered.
Flossy stopped laughing then looked down at her hands in her lap. 'They can't expect us, three sixteen-year olds to fight some enemies....' She trailed off.
I put my arm around her shoulders. 'It'll be okay..' I looked up to see Eric watching me. There was something in his eyes.... He then looked away. He held his hand up and muttered something under his breath. A small beam of light hit a tree. 'We aren't without powers though.' He smiled. I grinned. We went into the nearby woods and trained for the rest of the day, with flying and our new-found powers.

Dear Diary,

I woke to my phone buzzing. It was Flossy. 'Hello?'
'Huh? Oh, its you Eve! You sound different when you've woken up..... Anyway, I've been calling you for ages!'
I sighed. 'Is there any point in this phone call?'
I heard a small crackle. Flossy must have put her hand over the phone to speak to someone. There was another crackle, and her bright voice was back. 'Right, Eric says to meet us at my house again, 'kay?'
I was going to ask what Eric was doing up so early with her, but the line went dead. Trust Flossy to cut off without saying goodbye. I sighed and put on a long sleeve top, that had a dip in the back. It would be easier to not cut the top. As I looked at my wings, I noticed that they were longer than my arm. I blinked then shrugged to myself.
I opened my window, prepared to climb the roof, then take off at the top. I jumped out, but I couldn't quite grab the gutter. I couldn't fly, from shock. When I was just about going to hit the ground, someone caught me. I looked up to see... Eric. I gasped and jumped up to my feet. I bent my head forwards. 'I'm so sorry...' I whispered.
Eric just laughed. He put his hand on my shoulder. I jumped at the gesture, a blush spreading across my face. He then pulled me into a hug. I almost died.
'Just be more careful.' He whispered in my ear. He then spread out his wings and landed on a roof that was far away from Flossy's house. He let go of me. 'You okay?' I nodded a reply. I spread out my blacks wings and I soared into the air. I dropped down next to Flossy who gave me a hug.
'We are going to do some more training!' Flossy declared. We then set off to the training grounds for yet another day of training.

Dear Diary,

When I woke up this morning, man did I ache. I flopped back down onto my bed and curled up. I feel asleep, until my Mom knocked on my bedroom door. I sighed and got up. I padded over to the door. I opened it and glared at my Mom.
'Whats the emergency?' I growled.
My Mom looked at me, surprised at the hostility in my voice. 'Your friend Flossy and a boy are at the door, want me to send them up?'
I nodded and closed the door. I sat on my bed, waiting for them. A knock on the door told me they were there. 'Come in, its open.' I said, rubbing my temples.
Flossy poked her head around the door and trotted in, while Eric walked in slowly, looking around my room. I felt a blush coming up. 'Should've cleaned my room.' I thought, regretting the decision I made a few days back.

Dear Diary,

So we all sat on my bed. I looked at Eric who was smirking at me. I growled. Flossy looked at us. She then laughed. We all burst into laughter after that, me trying not to fall off the bed, Eric clutching his stomach and Flossy, who was rolling around on the floor, having a laughing fit.
When we all calmed down, we sat on my bed again.
'Anyway,' Flossy said 'Me and Eric were talking while we came to your house. There were people on the streets, but no-one noticed our wings. Do you think they are invisible to humans?'
I nodded. I saw Eric looking at me, again. I looked back at him. He grinned. 'Anyway, shall we go train?' He suggested. I nodded then stood. I forgot that I was still in my night-clothes. I shoved Eric and Flossy out of the door then changed. After that, we went to the training site. It's getting boring now.
