Mira looked at him and smirked.

[mindless.]

Kasi looked at the ground. Should she return? She sighed, and flicked her tail.

[Acidic]

Kodi layed down and stared at the entrance of the forest, waiting for Kasi.

[mindless.]

Kasi stepped out, and padded in the deeper forest. She flicked her ears, gazing around. She groomed her white fur, freezing as a rustling sounded. She stared in pure horror to find a lone wolf watching, hungry. She shot up, but the wolf got her foreleg. He bit. Hard. She screamed, and wrenched herself from its grip. She limped into a burrow with three legs. The wolf gave up. She emerged, and collapsed, a gash in her side. Her white fur was stained red.

[Acidic]

Kodi heard the scream and his ears perked up. He started to make his way into the forest.
After a while, he found Kasi laying there with blood red stained fur. He looked down at her "What 'ave ye gotten yeself into now?" he said. He licked her fur to clean it. He sniffed her wound and started to find his way towards the lone wolf. "Dont you worry, love,I'll be right back."

[mindless.]

Kasi breathed heavily, staggering to her feet. She looked around, and limped on three legs back to her hidden hollow.

[Acidic]

Kodi growled at the wolf and lunged at it, biting and attacking. By the end the wolf was highly injured, and so was Kodi. At least he scared off the thing that threatened the one he loved.
He padded back to where Kasi had hidden, the burrow, and layed down next o her with his head on her back.

[mindless.]

Kasi made no move, flicking her ears. She was bleeding badly, and whimpered a bit, world turning black.
