" Adderclaw, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to Rosepaw. Adderpaw, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of skill and Bravery . I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice."

Adderclaw was amazed to have gotten his own daughter as an apprentice. He padded to her and touched noses.

Ashpelt smiled at Adderclaw.She loved when he was her mentor.

Mosseyes smiled, glad that Rosepaw would have her father as a mentor as well.

Rosepaw gasped, My father? she thought. Then she realized she was supposed to touch noses with him, and stumbled forward, tripping over her own plumed tail.

Adderclaw smiled and chuckled a bit.

Adderkit looked up at his sister, smiling. If she's becoming an apprentice, then i must be too! he though excitedly. He licked his mother's cheek, and slowly creeped forward, towards the highrock, not wanting to wait.
