Kika ♀ Malore ♂

The female puppy looked around her cage all scared. A Male looked at her with a scarred face. "dont worry they wont put you in this early" He said in a deep voise. The female Looked through the bars of the cage. "where are we?" She spoke in a soft voise. The male looked at her "Well the dog fighting rings of course" he said in a deeper dark voise. She shook with fear. What she had hoped not to do was becoming true. The humans walked by her cage and opend it and took her out. She was set in the dog fighting ring. Everyone had money on the other dog but she mannaged to kill it. They took her back with lots of money in their pockets and put her back next to the male. "you made it." the male said. She looked confused "whats your name?" she asked sadly. "my name is Malore but you can call me Mal. Whats yours?" He asked. She female pup looked at him "my name is Kika."

Years later Kika was one of the best fighters along with Mal.

Kika looked at Mal as he came out of the ring with a few more scars. "how was this fight?" She looked at him her voise had matured alot and she had to smiled at him each time she saw him. He was really handsome under neither all those scars. "well it was not harder than the last" he chuckled in his dark voise. He took a quick glance at her but looked away again hiding his feeling. Something happend that day and he felt something in his chest move. He felt like all he could see was kika and he would fight all those dogs just to keep her alive. Mal leaned agained his cage some on his fur was in her cage. Kika she had to smiled at her self. She saw the man come with the rodding stick and she whinced in fear she licked mal's fur out of fear. Mal looked at her with worry. "dont worry kika you'll win this fight." he said and she nodded lightly. She came back her small frail face was semi tore up and bloody she panted in her cage her nose between the bars of the cages. Mal looked at her and licked her nose. "i love you kika" he whisped. Kika has heard him and whisperd "i want to run away with you and share my life with you."

Kika looked at all the cages all that were left was hers and mals. "what do they do now?" she asked in a scared voise. Mal looked at her with intence worry. "i dont know my love." That was it they knew what one coming they day they knew was coming. The day they would have to fight to the death. They were both put in the ring. He looked at her and she looked at him. "kika what ever happend today i want you to run and run and never look back." he said to her. She looked at him tear whelling in her eyes "no you cant leave me i wont let you." she said. With thats he leaped at her and bit down on her throat. She looked at him with wild eyes "kill me and you will soon die and we will be together then in heaven and nothing can stop us." She nodded and bit down on his throat killing him and she layed there as she looked her last breath. Looking down at there bodies they were both smiling. They were in a better place now...

Diesel(M)---------------Adelita (F)

Blue eyes stared into deep violet ones as two hands lingered on the same coffee mug.

It had been years since they had last crossed paths. Adelita was the daughter of a politician--expected to be a proper lady and future leader. Diesel was...well, Diesel was a misfit who had a record with the county sheriff's office. They had locked eyes once then; as he passed the moving van just as Adelita had climbed inside with her dainty purse.

He'd been sure they'd never meet again. Yet here she was in their hometown coffee shop, hand lingering delicately over his as their battle for the cup of joe was swiftly abandoned. He felt her hand squeeze his lightly just before her eyes sprang open in realization. Before she could open her mouth, however, Diesel carefully pushed the mug towards her and gave a soft smile as he cast his eyes to the floor.
"You see quite nice for a girl with good looks and I'm the kinda fella that'll make you feel better when your life gets shook so...Give it a chance. According to your plans I bet I'm not number one on your list to kiss but please understand."

Her hand lingered on the rim of the mug offered to her, her eyes unwavering as she let his words sink into her mind. It had been so long ago...did he really remember her? Well that was silly--she remembered him, didn't she? She smiled back with a response all her own that had his mind reeling and his eyes flying back to her face to see if she was just kidding around with him.
"You seem quite shy but you're oh so cute. And I'm the kinda girl that would love to be yours if you'd ask me to. So, just take a chance. Try to hold my hand. I swear I'd never let go. Just let me know if you'd be my man."

He had to hold his hand back from flying to hers at the offer, the goofy smile on his face giving away his excitement. The prom queen, the straight-A student with a glittering, golden future laid out before her...she was saying these words to the class clown. The screw-up with proverbial doors slamming in his face left and right. He had to take a moment to consider this...was fate going to be so cruel as to slam this door in his face as well?
"I really want to, come out and tell you...Oh darling I love you so."

He felt her hand glide over his and squeeze with meaning this time, that bright smile lighting up her face like he remembered it so clearly from the years gone by. She was different now--a woman instead of just a young girl. He was different too--more rough around the edges perhaps. He turned his hand to hold hers tightly.
"If you ask me for my heart there's no way that I'll say no."

He could feel her hand tremble in his..no wait, that was definitely his own hand shaking. With a nervous laugh he reached out with his other hand to seal hers in a tight embrace of sorts, staring into those perfect eyes.
"You seem quite right for a boy like me."

She laughed, simple as that. His nervous tremors, his eyes weaving in and out of meeting her gaze, that sweet and fragile smile on his face. He was like a child waiting to be accepted; have someone tell him they were proud of him. Above all he was so beside himself with glee that the emotion was simply plastered all over his face.
"And I wanna know would you treat me well? Would you treat me like a queen?"

The enthusiasm with which he nodded elicited another laugh from her.
"Cause I'd like to show you and make you see..."

Her free hand came up to rest atop of his, all their fingers laced together. How long had he dreamed of this day? How long had she thought about him for? Was that why she was back? Had she been looking for him? They both opened their mouths, the same thoughts on their lips.
""That although we're different types, we were meant to be.""

He sucked in a deep breathe and let that sink in. She had thought of him, maybe that's what had brought her back. But none of that mattered--she was here now. The blare of a car horn from outside the coffee shop, the horn of one ominous looking black limo, sounded and made both of them jump. His heart fell when he saw the man he recognized all too well as her father step out of the back, eyes narrowed as he peered through the window. It was now or never; he had lost her once, he couldn't let fate slam this door in his face. Not again.
"So I gotta ask you. I can't be afraid. I gotta take a chance at love so what do you say? Oh darling, I love you so."

With a glance over her shoulder he was sure she'd return home to her life of high society. She might think about him still, but she'd be whisked away just as she had been before. However when her eyes returned to his he saw a look he thought he could only ever see in the mirror--the look of mischief that he had certainly never expected from her.
"If you'd ask me for my heart there's no way that I'd say no..."

As the man from the limo entered the coffee shop there was no high class girl and delinquent boy to be found. Only an abandoned cup of coffee and a napkin with a lipstick kiss goodbye.

My love was gone...nothing more then a dream on the wind.
Without a word.
I know he loved me, if he left there was a reason.
I hope...
Everyday I lit his way home to me, dreaming, hoping he'd reappear before my eyes.
I received nothing but the cool whispering of the winter wind.



I had little time to dwell on those thoughts.
My 'lover' awaited for me.
A devious smirk everytime he saw me appeared on those malicious lips.
Perhaps it was a dream that I desperately sought.
An escape.
The gentle cries of a child could be heard within the castle walls.



A blessing.
Though those eyes...
They did not belong to me 'beloved'
As he grew his venturing of the woods, his cuts and bruises.
There was the blood of a ranger within him.



Still I wait...
