(Well, since everypony has been so inactive, I shall revive the thread! I shall make an event to be happening, and that is...*drum roll* The Grand Galloping Gala!)

Quantum ran around her house, looking for a dress. "Oh come on! I know I've got one somewhere!" She cried.


Bolt smiled, admiring the formal Wonderbolt costume for the Gala. "Yes, this is awesome!"


Allegro smiled, looking at his reflection. He had just put on his tuxedo for the Gala. "Rarity did an awesome job making this!"

Lody searched through her closet for her dress from the previous gala. A white dress decorated with musical notes along the bottom and a black cloak suited for the opera. This year she wasn't playing at the gala as she normally did and was instead just going for the enjoyment of it, though she had been asked to bring her violin for unknown professional reasons she never questioned.

Ink found his old brown tuxedo at the back of his closet and his green bow tie, putting them both on before going to his younger sister's temporary bedroom in one of his guest rooms. "Dazzle, are you ready?"

Dazzle shrieked and ran into her closet. "Ink! Get out of my room! I'm still getting ready!" She heard Ink leave and sighed, walking out again. This was her first time going to the gala, only even getting a ticket from her 'fancy schmancy college professor brother' and was looking forward to it despite what she might say about dressing up.

Quantum smiled as she looked at her reflection in a mirror. She had donned a dark purple dress and a silver tiara. "Okay, I'm ready!" She ran outside to the awaiting chariot and climbed aboard.

Bolt smiled as he stood in front of the castle. He stepped inside and waltzed over to the Wonderbolts VIP area.

Allegro smiled as he joined the Gala band. He sat down and began setting up his oboe.

Lody made sure she looked alright before taking her violin case going out the door toward her carriage. The carriage rode for awhile before stopping in front of Ink's house.

Dazzle changed into her fancy orange dress and tied her mane back with a red ribbon. She almost looked like a lady, it revolted her. She left the room to see Ink grin at her. They walked out to see the carriage and both climbed in, nodding to Lody. "Ooh, Lody. You look perdy!" Dazzle smiled. The carriage then road toward Canterlot.

Quantum stepped out of the chariot and waited outside for her friends.


Bolt smiled, munching on an apple fritter.

Allegro began warming up, going through his scales and such.

Shae rumaged through her closet. "Grrrrr! i've got nothing to wear!" She reached into the back, finally pulling out a sparkling lavender gown. "Perfect." She rushed out the door to her waiting carriage.

The carriage pulled up in front of the castle and the three exited one by one.

Ink saw Quantum and immediately ran up to her. The other two followed him, Lody rolling her eyes. "Hi sciencey pony." He smiled, refusing to call her by her real name.

Lody smiled calmly. "Hello Quantum."

Dazzle just looked at the three of them.

Quantum smiled. "Why hello there history pony! Hi there Lody!" She looked at the other pony. "Hi! Who are you?"

Dazzle smiled. "I'm Dazzle. well, Razzle Dazzle, Ink's sister. Well one of them." She grinned widely. "Me and Ink, we have a lot of siblings, like seven or something. Are family's real big and all.

Ink smiled. "Dazzle's staying with me for a bit. She works for the family business." Ink purposefully avoided saying what business this was, just mentioning that it existed.

Lody nodded. "I have to go do something." She said quietly and left toward the ballroom with her violin case.

Quantum smiled. "Well,Dazzle, it's wonderful to meet you. I'm Quantum, I work at the college with your brother."
