Role Play Rant Thread Redux

When RPers make 'evil' clans and do it poorly.

1- They refer to themselves as 'evil'. Okay, if you're 'evil', you don't THINK you're evil. I'm sure that pretty much every person the world has ever classified ad being 'evil' thinks that they were right. Serial killers think they're right. Hitler thought he was right. Nobody skips around calling themself evil.

2- They make the name 'Boneclan' or 'Bloodclan' or 'Deathclan'. Again. Would they think they're bad? And being 'evil' doesn't always make you a killer, it could just be that they're mean.

3- Every cat is named 'Skullcruncher' or 'Deathbringer'. What is with the obsession with death? Are there not other sorts of evil, such as theft, or dishonesty? And how would the mother know what her kit was going to be like when she birthed them? Heck, Homicidaltalon of Killclan might turn out to be a nice guy.

4- Every cat is evil, bad, or whatever you want to call it. A bunch of evil, power-hungry people wouldn't make a functioning clan.

This isn't really a rant, this is more of a praise. I've just recently started this RP that I already love, and our character haven't even interacted much yet. The concept is wonderful and I've never tried it before, plus the characters are so original and great together. Lovin' it.

And when two people/cats (in clans) start talking, and then later that afternoon bam they are inlove and the girl is having the guy's baby. Yeah what sheltered life do you have that you think that is realistic?
