Squirrel lashed her tail in worry, "I'm sorry. Sorry." Inside her head she was ahaving a hard time deciding whether to jump down and get the chicken or stay up here. She was still uspiscious of it being a trap, but if she stayed uo there any longer she knew the kit would be angry. Squirrel crouched as if to jump off, then stopped and looked up at a sudden, quiet cracking noise. "Did you hear that...?" she whispered.

Cleo looked up from her meal, her eyes wide. "Oh, sure! Although I don't know why other cats would steal... It's such a disgraceful thing to do, expecially if you come from a well-respected family." Picking up her half-eaten mouse by the tail, she mewed to the tom, "Do youh need any helwp wit dat?" She asked, her words muffled by the mouse as she gestured towards the four mice near him.

Muse gasped silently as another cat had crept into the alleyway she was in, looking around. Soon, a she-cat had launched herself on him for no reason. She suddenly remembered her "exile" for sometihing she didn't do. Muse leaped out towards the she-cat, thinking, I'm gonna regret this later... Suddenly, a loud yowl rang throughout the alley, and Muse realized that.... It was her. She landed on the she-cat's back and dug her claws into her back, opening her jaws to shout "Stop!" But she realized that it was just an accident that she had been able to speak earlier.

Quicksilver gazed at Mordecai, her eyes bright. "I see... Where I used to live, the humans would feed us, but hurt us also...." She mewed, "And yes, I'd like to know some places you could get food... It would be pretty useful..." Giving her chest fur a lick, she added, "But, in the time I've been here, it seems that dumpsters are pretty reliable for food..."

His ears swivelled forward, about to snap something at her again, when he heard the njoise as well. He scowled. "Yes...." He muttered grudgingly. "Probably some other irritaing cat coming to invade my space." He grouched. He snorted, she looked petrified because of the tiny noise. "Cats these days." he mumbled to himself. He didn't really care what the noise was, as long as whoever had made it didn't bother him. If they did...well...he slid his claws out and scraped the pavement. He hated being bothered. Couldn't everyone else mind their own d*mn business these days. He felt disgusted with his kind.
