Envy's head snapped up and he neighed loudly, quickly backing up as Diad reared. Emerald calmed the stallion and urged him forward at a walk. She watched as the figure pulled out the rusty sword. She giggled quietly to herself. "Just your friendly neighborhood outlaw." she said with a smirk, not even bothering to pull out a dagger. "That rusty old thing won't do you any good so I suggest you put that away."

Frank snarled, this girls voice was familiar but he shook the thought away, "I can do some damage if you'd like me too" he coughed, his breath visable in the night air as Diad squealed louder and pawed excesivly at the other stallion, yet his joints creaked and cracked as he did so.

Emerald smirked, ignoring as Envy pranced under her. He extended his head towards the other stallion but Emerald quickly pulled him back. "I dare you to try old man." she taunted. She pulled out a dagger and twirled it in one hand, the other hand clutching Envy's mane.

Frank chuckled "Old man?Your kidding right" he said, staring at the girl and rolling his eyes "Im twenty eight" he added in frustration taking a swing at her with his hand free of the sword. Diad pranced and squealed as the toher stallion got close.

Emerald leaned back as the sword was swung at her. She growled and sat back up, raising the dagger. "Well you sound a lot older than you say you are." she snapped. "With one flick of my wrist this dagger could be embedded in your forehead. Put away the sword before I make you put away the sword."

Frank frowned and dropped the sword, screeching in pain. His already weakened body couldnt take the strain of fighting and the sword fell to the floor with a clang making the already skittish Diad rear vertically up and sent Frank sprwaling to the ground. His hood fell back revealing a small mass of matted ginger hair and his stubble. "You dont have to bloody do anything" he cursed, gripping his wrist and watching his stallion nozy around on the floor.

Emerald didn't stop Envy when he once again backed away from Diad. She jumped off before the stallion reared up at the other horse, running over to Frank and placing a booted foot on his chest. her dagger was still in hand as her eyes searched him over. They went wide as she recognized the face. She removed the boot and dropped to her knees beside him. "Frank!" she gasped.

Frank growled as he felt the foot press on his chest, his eyes darting up as soon as his name was mentioned "Emerald?" he questioned in bewilderment, pushing her foot away from him and stuggling to his feet, brushing himself off "Is that really you?" he asked coughing afterwards.

Emerald looked Frank over in shock. "Yes it's me..." she replied breathlessly. "Is that honestly you?" she asked, slightly raising one eyebrow. "You look so different." Tears welled up in her eyes a little as she ran up and hugged him.

Frank chuckled "How many other ill, decrepid, ex-knightly ginger failures are there" he answered her with his trademark smirk and huggedher back as tight as he could, resting his chin on her shoulder and sighed, running his hand down her head. "I see you havent changed?" he questioned with a chuckle and a cough.
