There's no telling why people care about lineages xD I do, but i can't really tell you why. I appreciate the amount of work that goes into a nice/pretty/short lineage (short because it means they camped out to get the CBs and pretty because of the thought and time that goes into them).

Long/messy lineages just aren't as appealing.
