PowerClans: The Rise of DarkClan

Prologue
Welcome, young cat! You have stumbled upon the mystical world of the PowerClans, where eight magical clans exist in peace. My name is Lightheart, and I am here to show you our world. But before you enter it, I must tell you a story. A story of hatred and betrayal that could destroy you if you do not hear of it. Listen, my dear one, and be afraid.

Many moons ago, under these very skies, a tiny, white kitten was born to a FireClan queen. Icekit grew up like any other young cat, making friends and playing games, but there was one exception. She did not have any powers. She was sent to LeafClan at her apprenticeship, and she despised everything about this new place. The small, white apprentice grew into a strong warrior and had almost resigned herself to her fate when whispers came to her ear. An old elder, Scarface, thought to have gone mad at the death of his mate and kits, spoke cunning and beguiling words to her. He unleashed the evil lurking in the she-cat's heart, and with that evil came power. Iceheart, as she was now called, discovered her own magical ability: the power to control the minds of others. With this power, she rebelled against StarClan and the righteous ways of the PowerClans to form her own clan of wicked hunters. DarkClan and its leader Icestar plot against us even as we speak. They will strike, and if they succeed, all is lost. But a glimmer of hope has risen in an unlikely place...

Now young one, it is time for you to decide your place here. Choose carefully, for one mistake could plunge the PowerClans into chaos. Likewise, a wise choice could tip the scale in our favor. Lives hang in the balance. Our destiny rests in your paws.

The Warrior Code
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. StarClan does not expect you to fight your mate if they are in another clan.
2. Do not hunt on another Clan's territory. You may enter their territory with permission.
3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices must not eat until they have hunted for the elders.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. Cats are allowed to have mates from other clans, but the kits must go to whatever clan's power they have.
10. Medicine cats are not allowed to have mates unless there is another medicine cat that can take their place if they have kits.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats unless they have permission to enter your territory.
12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader must be followed unless they are proved unfit for their position by StarClan.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior does his best to ensure peace between the eight clans.

The Territories
The forest the clans live in is a perfect circle, with the clan territories divided evenly into eight wedges. From top, going clockwise: FireClan, WaterClan, AirClan, EarthClan, RockClan, IceClan, SunClan, LeafClan. No one knows where DarkClan lives except Icestar herself. FireClan's territory is home to a small volcano, with a leafy jungle surrounding it. WaterClan's territory is marshy except for the few hills on dry land and huge pools of water where they swim and fish. AirClan's territory is a wide meadow, with oak trees at the edges. EarthClan's territory is a sparse forest with very little grass. RockClan's territory is high and rocky, like a mountain. IceClan's territory has a huge lake and they live in ever-frozen ice caves. SunClan's territory has small trees and bushes so that they can feel the sun's warmth. LeafClan's territory consists of thick oak forests and grassy meadows. This vast range in territory makes it unreasonable to steal another clan's territory.

The Powers
FireClan: controls fire and outer warmth

AirClan: controls air
EarthClan: controls earth
RockClan: has "super-strength" (for lack of better words x.x)
IceClan: controls ice and cold
SunClan: controls light and inner warmth
LeafClan: medicine cat controls time itself
DarkClan: Icestar controls minds

Kits discover their powers at five moons, but cannot use them properly. When kits are six moons they become apprentices to whatever clan they have powers in. For example, if a kit is born in SunClan but has IceClan powers, it moves to IceClan at six moons of age. If a kit is born without powers, but is wise for their age, they belong in LeafClan. No cat has DarkClan powers except Icestar, and no cat has moved willingly to DarkClan. Icestar battles other clans and slowly empties out their warriors' hearts so she can command them. When a cat uses it's powers, it's eyes glow according to the powers (FireClan; orange, WaterClan; blue, AirClan; white, EarthClan; brown, RockClan; grey, IceClan; ice blue, SunClan; golden) and they use energy from their bodies. If a cat uses it's power too much, it runs out of energy and dies.

6. Do not kill or mate with another person's cat without their permission.
7. Be careful of the power limitations. If your cat has used too much of it's power, I will say it has died.
8. Fill out the whole form and do not post again until I have accepted you.
9. You can have any number of cats, but try not to have more than you can handle. Really inactive cats will be deleted.
10. Post at least three sentences and/or two lines every time you post, even if you have writer's block. If you do not have three sentences and/or two lines, don't post.
11. When posting, put the clan or event name above your roleplay post. Ex. FireClan, Battle, Gathering, IceClan
I would suggest large font and/or color, but it's just a suggestion.
12. When it comes to rule-breaking, I follow the baseball policy. Three strikes and you're out!
13. I will know you have not read the rules if you put Warrior Cats Rock! in 'Other'.
14. If you have read the entire post, including the new-and-slightly-improved warrior code, ignore rule 13 and put 'cookies' in Other instead.
