Erica
Erica smiled at that, "Well you never know." She teased in reply, dark eyes gleaming with amusement. Her voices hadn't pick up yet so she thought it was a good start to the day, having breakfast with Antonio and no imaginary people nagging at her. Her eyes darkened with his next words, "Well me more often than not." She stated softly. "I've been the cause of a few of the morning lock downs." She stared at the floor afraid to look at him in case he was disgusted with her.

"At least I'm not the only one." Antonio said with a slightly forced smile, the topic wasn't the most enjoyable, but it was a common one here. "Once I got so out of control they pulled out the tranquillizer gun." he chuckled a little, poking half attentively at his cereal, finding his apatite suddenly gone. He sighed and set the bowl down on the counter. He knew laughing at his own insanity wasn't a nice thing but it was so much easier to laugh at it than face it as the depressing and terrible thing it was.

"All alone? Sounds lonely. You sure you wouldn't like a little company?" Jay asked her in return with a small chuckle. He winced as a splinter pierced his hand. He paused to pull it out and looked down, they were nearly to the ground now, thank goodness. "Because if you do I'd be more than happy to come with you." he smiled and glanced down at her before beginning to climb down again. It was slow going, much slower than climbing up.
Amy was happy that Jay had offered to come with her. She put on a joking tone as she replied, "Well, okay. I was hoping for someone a little less insane, but because I am, you'll be perfect." She normally hated it when people joked about them that being insane was the reason why they were here, but it could be a lighthearted manner if they wanted it to be. She descended from the last branch, her feet landing firmly on the solid ground. When they did, she collapsed on the grass and closed her eyes to compose herself. Her hand was throbbing and her head was laying by the shoe she had lost in the tree. She took what energy she had left to sit up and put it on before Jay worried about her. She took off the sock on her left foot before putting the shoe on, though, so that she wouldn't get even MORE splinters. When the shoe was firmly on her foot, she fell back down and lay on her side while she waited for Jay.

Erica
Erica smiled slightly but didn't laugh, the times she lost it were torture to her, not something she could just laugh off. She sighed and slowly munched on another bite of cereal. She swallowed slowly and set her food down walking over to Antonio and leaned lightly against the counter next to him. "I know I've had that too." she agreed softly feeling sad all of a sudden. It wasn't fair that they were stuck here, it wasn't right they were 'expiriments'. Nobody should be kept in a place like this, maybe a nicer place would be alright but not this place. At least she had Antonio, that was her only solace now. In all honestty she had nothing else left to live for.
Jay
Jay smiled slightly at her joking tone, but not much. He'd never found things like that to be particularly funny. "Oh so I'm more insane than you then?" he asked trying to change the subject, "Must be because of my insanely good looks." His green eyes glinted with amusement at that and he smiled down at Amy where she was on the ground. "In coming." he warned as he dropped down to the ground next to her landing lightly. He held out a cool hand to help her up, "Come on let's get inside before we get locked out."

Antonio's smile faded a little and he walked over to the sink, pouring the rest of his cereal down it, no longer hungry. He set the bowl down and walked back over to Erica "What's wrong?" he asked, she might be smiling but over the years of having nothing to do he had gotten rather good at looking back on things, people's faces he had seen before he was locked up and being able to tell when they were hiding something or when something was wrong. He took on of her hands gently in his, hating to think he had done something wrong that might upset her, he wanted to make her happy not feel worse than before.

Erica
She swallowed the lump in her throat and leaned against Antonio with a sigh. "It just makes me feel like an animal and not a human being." She replied softly. She didn't feel human at all most of the time, and then the rest of it she wasn't sure she wanted to be because of how most people acted. All she ever got from people untill Antonio and when her little brother had been alive, was that she wasn't worth anything. She sniffed lightly closing her eyes to hold back the tears... again. She had so much pain pent up inside her there were just times when she had to let it out, and couldn't stop it.

Antonio wrapped his arms back around her, resting his head gently on top of hers and running a hand through her hair. "Everyone here feels like that, you just have to remember you are a person. Doctor Smiley may not treat you that way but your more human than him." He hated to see her upset, he wished there was something he could do to make her feel better, to prove she was worth so much more than she thought.

Erica
Erica nodded mutely, she knew he was right, but sometimes it was hard to remember after being treated a certain way all your life. A few tears managed to slip down her cheek, but the rest she kept inside. She had never liked to cry, and didn't like to show pain either, but sometimes it was unavoidable. She sniffed and wiped her tears away, "Thank you, and sorry I'm getting so emotional." She mumbled to Antonio in a soft voice.

Antonio gave Erica a sad look, he really wished there was some way to get rid of those voices, so she would be able to leave her, so she wouldn't have to be tormented by them anymore. He rested his head gently against her temple, no longer paying any attention to the cartoon. "What are they saying now?" he whispered, his breath close to her ear. He didn't know what he could do against non-existent voice or real ones he couldn't hear. He would try though, if it helped Erica he would do anything.

.:Jenny:.
Jenny sighed, so many students came here like that. Mainly the boys but many girls too, always so hostile and blaming all their problems on others and themselves. It took them a while to realize it was nothing but something wrong in their genetics. Something in the brain that could snap at any moment. Many people had it but the event never came to trigger and set it off, reminders of that moment acted like a trigger for the rest of the persons life setting them off at the mere thought of it. "Can you please tell me your name?" she asked, she knew his name, Jax, but she needed to hear him say it, let him know he was important and she wanted to know more about him.
~~
.:Ali McQue:.
Ali felt Daniel close again, his arms back around her. She wrapped hers around his neck. Tonight had been perfect, she didn't care what Dr. Smiley said, love wasn't a stupid thing and it wasn't just going to be some sort of experiment. She gave a quick glance to Mark, he had given their wedding something special, even if this place didn't allow much. If they were going to kiss they might as well give him fair warning. "Mark?" she said, he nodded "I can take hint." he closed his eyes and put his hands over them singing loudly "Lalalalalalala" as he ran around in circles, a classic little kid. Ali looked back to Daniel, "So... what now?"she asked, she had never been to a wedding and she had never really thought about one. They were married, they were happy, there wasn't much else to be done.
"Let me out of here smart girl and then maybe I'll consider telling you my name." Jax snapped still glaring at her with his cold dark eyes, inching his chair backwards away from her and closer to the door. He wasn't staying here, and she couldn't make him. He watched her closely as he reached a point only a few feet away from the closed door praying it was open. Her next move was his signal to leave.

Antonio gave a weak smile, meaning for it to be comforting more than anything else. "It's fine. You don't deserve to feel like that. Smiley shouldn't be treating you badly enough for that to happen." he whispered, trying to calm her down. He had gotten used to it after a while, just got passed the point of caring. He rubbed her back a little, like his father had always done before he left. It would always be a couple weeks before he went back to the army Antonio's mom would break into tears often, afraid to lose him. His father would always trying to sooth her and make everything seem alright. Antonio hated to think how his mother was doing now or if she was even alive, she had lost her husband and had her son taken from her all in the same night because of some drunk thug. Antonio shoved the thought aside, it wasn't time for him to get depressed.

.:Jenny:.
Jenny didn't move from her spot in the desk though her smile faded. "It's locked." she said simply, her voice sounding almost as if she was the one trapped. She felt trapped most of the time, she wanted to help these children but she usually felt as enclosed as them. No matter what she did they never got out, she got to know everyone who came to her and so many of those people had killed themselves because of this place. They might as well be abandoned on an island and told to fend for themselves. "I'm trying to help you. If you want to get out of here your going to have to listen and try to work with me. It's the only way you can leave." she said quietly, the door would unlock in half an hour though the Doctor and officers as well as herself could over ride it in case of an emergency.
