Lance hustled to his next class, jolts of pain shooting through his left leg with every step. Limping into his third period class, he staggered to his seat and practically fell into it, collapsing with relief. Taking out his notebook as the bell rang, he started to jot down notes, his leg stretched to the empty seat in front of him.

Azlyn walked into the classroom right before the bell rang. She took her seat and got out her note book, jotting down notes.

Lance aimlessly stared at the powerpoint his teacher was showing, having no interest in the history of Medieval times in Britain, already knowing all he needed to know, if not more. Sighing, he was still a model student, copying all the notes diligently.

Azlyn coughed, trying to muffle a laugh at a fact that was pretty much wrong. She wrote it down anyway, knowing there was a chance that it could be on the test.

As the period neared an end, Lance sighed and packed up his notebook. He had Spanish next, and he really didn't want to go. He wasn't a man of many languages; he preferred English and nothing else. Getting up as the bell rang, Lance took his time to get to the classroom.

Azlyn's next class was German, a language she had learned a long time ago. Languages were her favourite thing, and she knew several; German, Spanish, French, Latin, Norwegian, a bit of Japanese, and Portuguese. She packed up and walked slowly to her class, sitting down.

Lance took his seat right as the bell rang, gaining a quizzical look from his teacher because it was unusual for him to be late to any class. Ignoring his teacher's look, Lance took out his notebook and copied and answered the do now, not paying too much attention as his teacher droned on in a foreign language to him.

Azlyn did her work, bored. She kept glancing at the clock, eager for lunch. Not so much to eat, but to see what people will say about the party.

Lance anticipated the bell ringing a few minutes before it rang. He'd been dying for some food, to fill his churning gut with that as opposed to the thought of being with many of the kids that went to the party. Sighing, he speedwalked to lunch and immediately got on the lunch line while it was short, so people hopefully wouldn't realize he existed and everything would go back to normal.

Azlyn walked into the lunch room laughing, Jasey on her right side. She sat down at their table, it was a bit empty because everyone else was getting food. Her throat burned slightly, still from the drinks she had consumed at the party. She scratched her neck lightly, wanting to rip it out.
