((The normal talking... The only real plot event that's happened is a Golum attacking Will and Cal.))
.:Sijach:.
Sijach stormed down the hall in an angry tantrum, she the Black Headmaster had something over her but he had something over him... mind you his word was higher than hers and what he had could kill her, but she wasn't he slave. Her black hair swirled around her, her green eyes dancing with anger. He could get is own book! He could take the small walk a couple corridors back and get his own book! She wasn't his messenger, she wasn't his servant, she wasn't his slave and she wished she wasn't his student. Most people got out of the way when she saw her in such a state, but right in front of her was a red robed boy leaning against the wall. Sijach didn't pay him any attention until she tripped over his feet. Giving a shriek as she slammed into the ground. She sat herself up, giving him a dagger glare. "Why'd you do that!?" she shouted her accent thick. She wasn't angry at him, but she needed someone to shout her hatred at and accidentally tripping her seemed a good enough reason.
~~
.:Feathers:.
"That's a pretty name." Feather's said with a sweet, childish smile. She might be concidered a young adult but she sure didn't act that way. She hadn't needed to mature in the forests and with all these new things and people she was as good as a child, she knew next to nothing about the word of humans... or Humanoids as the instructors had told her to call it. She didn't know what she word meant but she was more focused wondering what Tallia meant, she doubted it was part of a bird... maybe a horse? Tallia's questions snapped her back to reality "According the Head I'm a White. Though I don't pay much attention to my colour... I don't know the first thing about magic."

Naturally, it took Skye a minute to realize what had happened. Rubbing his knee, which would have an impressive bruise by the next day, he instinctively half-snarled, whipping around the face the girl. Never one gifted with the ability to easily understand accents, it took another second to put together what she way saying, which made his eyes narrow in annoyance. But nonetheless, she had only just tripped, which wasn't quite a good enough reason for his temper to make an appearance. Managing to turn his snarl into a smirk, he responded, tone an annoyed cheery:
"You tripped over me. Its not my fault you were too angry to see where you were going." That was one of the few sentences Skye had ever spoken that wouldn't be followed by an exclamation point, or using some of his typical slang. He wasn't sure why, but it seemed a fitting moment. Easily locking his gaze with hers, he waited to see how she would react, inwardly braced for another shout.

((Gah... Sorry I've been gone for so long. Work is evil sometimes... >.< ))
Jordan follows Aurora in through the library, still somewhat concerned about the repercussions for her brash actions. You've gotten yourself this far into this mess, old man, you had better see it through to the end. The rest of the wizards, even those who had gotten us to speak with Aurora, pretty much ignore him as he walks to the back of the stacks. Jordan is pretty much invisible to the rest of them, he has been there so long that his presence is like a well worn piece of furniture. However, this has long since ceased to bother him, and he soon catches up to Aurora as she comes to a halt in front of the beginning of the books.

((There are free characters to interact with. Mine are listed above... minus Sijach now...))
.:Sijach:.
Sijach glared at him, getting to her feet and adjusting her black cloak over her shoulder, dusting off the grim from the floor. "You shouldn't have been in the way. Most people, smart people, have learned to stay out of my way maybe you should do the same." she snarled, lashing out again. She didn't even know this guys name nor did she care to learn it. She was busy enough with whatever she was ordered to do to have a social life and even if she did have one it would definitely not involve some hard headed red robe. She put her hands crossly on her hips, trying to regain some pride she had lost.
~~
.:Aurora:.
Aurora looked out at the books lining the shelf, they didn't seem to have much of a order neither did the names in them so of course you had to use magic. "Aurora the Nameless." she called, talking to the wooden shelf as she summoned the book containing her name. She found these books so aggravating, it would change all the time, either when a wizard was born or died. It would take strong magic to keep the changing pages still block her name and family. The book flipped to her page, spinning wildly till it came to a page that was practically blank except for a couple lines for the branches and one word at the bottom. Aurora. "See? Nothing! It's blank!"

Will gave a little shrug "I like being alone most of the time, people find me strange and weird for my race and my lack of magic." he explained quietly, not liking to talk about it much. He was a Balitor and even to him he was strange, wolves were very uncommon among them. He sighed, leaning back outside the door frame. He could hear the voices on the other side rising again "I don't get why he doesn't just fire her. It would be so much easier. He could bring Aurora or someone else in to take her place."
((For your question about characters all of mine besides Will and Aurora are free.))
Cal looked at him, her head tilted. "You're not that bad. Appearance and abilities aren't everything," she said, looking away. She shrugged, leaning back on her heels, "Maybe he feels pity for her..." she said, quietly.

Tallia Amshaw
"I haven't met someone who's white before, I'm a black myself. Not that I really know what the differences are, I have only been here for a few days." She tried to think of something else, with neither of them knowing much, this conversation wasn't really going anywhere. "So, what do you think of it here?" She said, finding nothing else to say.
((sorry WB. Xaxis is still free in anyone would like to talk ot him or something.))

Starbase Typhon is a roleplay run by me, off site. It is Star Trek based (but not the new movies, as you will see) and it definetly needs people who are willing to be active, write with great grammar, and of course, are semi-literate or above. Format is play by Nova, which involves multi-person posts that are a different way of doing things that here of CS. But it's lots of fun, and we need long term people who will help us complete our missions. As the commanding officer of Typhon, I invite anyone who would like to give it a try to please apply! (Warning that quality of applications is strictly judged. Very strictly judged.) The link is in the image.

Jordan watches as Aurora summons the book, then looks over her shoulder to eye the page closely. Humm... I wonder if the way it is filed is a trick in it's self? Without looking away from the page, he says in a bit of a hushed voice: "Have you ever tried looking for you name without using magic? What if you are only being given what you are asking for, and not what you are seeking?" With that, he gently takes the book from her, holding the page up to the light as though examining the weave of the paper.
