She was the city that was loved by many.
She was the girl that was the butterfly's only friend.
He was the butterfly the lurked around.

She slipped into her juice stained dress hoping to get to school. Her class was doing an experiment seeing how a caterpillar grows. Each student had their own.
When she arrived her teacher stood at her desk. "I'm sorry, Isabelle. Your caterpillar disappeared." First her eyes got wide the small as pebbles and she looked down. "It's okay, I won't be able to enjoy life now." she muttered. Her teacher started to get mad. "Isabelle, I'm sorry but the school won't give me any more money!" Isabelle looked up. "I know and I forgive you." Her teacher just stomped off.
At science Isabelle fell asleep.
every time she closed her eyes she dreamed of para-para-paradise
"Isabelle!"
"Huh-saywhat?"
"Time for lunch!" her teacher grumbled looking away.
"Oh,okay." she stood up and grabbed fora lunchbox feeling nothing. Her teacher dangled it with one finger. Isabelle snatched it and ran off.
During free time at lunch Isabelle headed outside. The gym teacher asked for a school libary card everyone had. "Verified. Thank you." and he stepped aside.
Isabelle walked pass. She sat down on the cold ground.A caterpillar crawled up onto her hand. She slipped it in her pocket. This was her J.K.

trapped forever in a bottomless rain
questions rise; are the clouds even sane?

His fingers are set lightly on the jagged window pane, tapping rhythmically with the pitter-patters outdoors. It's been going on for as long as he can remember; the foster home keeps no clocks in the "residential" areas. It has been sheeting down since the sun rose and long before that, but now that he is officially keeping tabs, it is his starting point.
He's a young kid but the smartest individual the small town has ever known. As a matter of fact, they don't know yet- there are some things a child keeps to oneself. It seemed, though, with this child that everything was corked inside. The two workers at the place had no idea what his name was, or his age, or even his eye color. But people chose not to believe his eye color, simply for sanity's sake.

"Children," a scraggly thing screeched, "come d-down stairs."
The old hag usually did not call children down after dinner, and quickly he knew something was up. The other children ran immediately, but he snagged his notebook and a pencil before sprinting down the stairs.
The woman held the door open and as soon as his feet fell off the last stair he felt water- the building was flooding. As he checked the rest of the town through the door, he saw liquid {it was stark and foggy, almost a chocolate milk color} that seductively crawled through creaks and crevices. It was everywhere.

His eyes travelled until he saw a gray figure sitting on a rooftop, one with a big grin. It happened to be staring directly at him. It pointed at him and it's thin finger curled, luring him closer.
But the old hag shut the door in his face. And he could not get it open.

"It helps me win the hearts of non-ladies such as yourself."

"....Come on then. Let's dance. I'm curious to see if you're as fast on your feet as you are on your wit."

I just thought of this pairing the second the Mint BW grew and wanted to jot something down for it xD
