Actually, it's Maro, without a "c".

"Hurry! Lux, Maro, Jerry, and Kira! You guys come with me!" Derek shouted.
We all followed him outside to a black pickup truck that was parked down the street in front of Maro's Camaro.
Maro opened the back passenger door for me and I blushed under my fur.
"No," came Derek's stern voice. "Lux will sit up front with me."
Maro's red eyes flashed...

Maro is used repeatedly...I quoted this straight from SJ, so it's spelled right. ^^
