Pride: Beauty and the Beast

[Dapple Cloud]

OOC: Soooo you just want me to start off? Okey dokey(:

BIC: An eerie fog moved in over the moor, intertwining itself with the forest and creating a penetrable silver blanket over the ground. A peculiar colored figure strayed to it's shadows, outlining the mark of the forest.
It was dotted with different shades of blues, all blending with the light blue of it's pelt. It had four dark blue dots running along it's muzzle that got smaller as they neared it's nose. It's tail was also lined with these mysterious markings of dots. The massive paws of the figure left huge carvings in the soil and grass.

It lifted it's nose to taste the crisp fall air. Mingling scents of dusk surrounded it as the creature slid closer into the dirt, it's chest brushing the ground. Bright yellow eyes burned ahead like fire, scanning the area abroad. It had traveled far from it's home territory and the creature became uneasy. The mix of blues in it's pelt and the bright glowering yellow eyes made it an easy target for any predator the knew the territory well. Though it's size couldn't possible be outmatched, it would be worthless with it's circumstances.

A shadow lurked in the foggy darkness of the forest. Neon-bright eyes watched the moves of the other figure. The shadowy-figure knew the other figure couldn't see it, crouching in the darkness and cover of the bushes...but it hid anyway. The curves and points of the animal's body were sharp and controlled. It felt the uneasiness in the other animal's body. Sharp fangs dripped with the sweet blood of it's last meal, but the creature's stomach hungered for more. Perhaps this other figure could be the satisfying end to the creature's hunger.

Gliding throughout the moors, the creature lowered it's head, desperately trying to shield itself from the outside.
It's paws steps were light and quiet despite it's immense size. Reaching the apex of the moor, the blue figure stopped and raised it's jaws once more. The last glowing tangelo rays of daylight had ceased and the silver claw of moon hung low in the sky with a scowl.
The figure, at least twice the size as the other that had approached, had no notion of the other being so close. The distant and lingering scents were pungent and unwelcoming to the confused, beast like animal.

The figure, stepped out through the fog. It had it's head lowered, claws out. It was a small, but furious looking creature. Which was covered in dry, caked on blood and dressed in newly-pink raw scars. Growling, it noted it's presence to the other figure. Even if it was twice it's own size the creature was not afraid to approach the giant shadow, which was silohetted against the now rising moon. Stepping closer and closer every second, sensing uneasiness the closer it got.

The beast could sense the danger lurking near it so instinctively it slid out it's overgrown claws. They were slightly worn from the treacherous excursion it faced from walking across stone mountains and plains. The beast knew another was near now and it's deep blue colored ears stayed perked, waiting for any sudden movements.
With such experience in combat, the beast's hopes could only be mended from here. Though the air grew still, the weariness never was terminated.

The figure stepped closer and closer, until finally...The other shadow could be seen in the dim moonlight. It was much larger than the small lioness, with large claws and large paws. The paddings on the bottom of the lioness's small paws shivered. She deepened her stare on the other creature.
(Having a writers block... I always use my Green Lioness!

OOC: Are you using her now???

BIC: With a whisk of cold air, the lioness's scent drifted toward the beast, who in reaction, whipped it's head to face her. Glowering at the humble lioness, it's bright eyes were wide and stained yellow as if it was sick.
The beast looked alien like compared to the lioness(who I don't know how she looks...xD) with it's strange blue dotted markings and mysterious bright yellow eyes that glowing like fire and penetrated ones skin, burning their flesh in interrogation. Fluffing out it's fur the beast used it's overgrown dark blue and black mane to make it seem abnormally large in the silhouette. A sharp breeze slashed the stillness like a claw and blew the beasts mane outward, perfect timing to add the extra sense of monster.

The cold gust of wind blew through the lioness's scarce fur. She shivered and backed away, catching a glimpse of the large creature. Her green markings were covered with large clumps of dried blood. She kept backing up, in fear that the animal would give her another deep wound she couldn't keep care of. Her, now, small looking body trembled in fear. Hoping the figure wouldn't attack.

The beast reverted, and faced the cowering lioness.
It bestowed a look of mercy on her but also the looked of deep anger that disguised the uneasy feeling in the pit of it's stomach. It had to look down on her and the wind still propelled it's mane back creating an outward flame and spiral of blue and black. The moons silver rays now revealed the beast was in fact a beast. It was an towering lion, a beast over others that dwell in moorlands and forests. He took a step forward revealing his icy claws and large paws with bruised padding on the bottom from the trek.
