Wolf Pack of the Winisk River, Part II ~ ACCEPTING! ~

Raven gasped as Dragonheart spoke.

[nothanks]

"Arrow is the alpha male of our pack," Ratscar snapped, "I am the beta. We have to get back home, and quick."
"No," Dragonheart suddenly snarled, "Not all of your group are fit for travel. O shall go alone, and return by sundown."
"But-"
Dragonheart grabbed a bundle of herbs and odder out into the snow, surprisingly fast. Her long fur kept her protected from the cold, long and powerful legs easily traveling through the snow.

Justice howled, hoping for an answer.

Dragonheart continued on down the mountain, and quickly reached the end of the snowy area. Now she was treading on hard rock, but the pads of her paws were strong and did not hurt.
"I may be old but I am not fragile," she muttered to herself. It had taken only a moment for her to reach the area where Ratscar and his accomplices had stopped to rest.

"Ratscar," said Minty, "I'm coming with you. I don't care if you think it's too dangerous for a wolf such as I. I'm still going, no matter what." The determination and loyalty in her voice was unmistakable. Her blind eyes bored into Ratscar's, showing her concern.

[saffrons]

Raven stood there wide eyed as Dragonheart raced out of the cave.
"Shouldn't we go with her?" Jasper asked anxiously weaving around Raven and the others.

[nothanks]

"I have a feeling that we'd only get in her way. I can sense her mind with my powers. She's already halfway down the mountain, a feat that had taken all of us combined two days," Ratscar replied.

Raven nodded but started to pace the cave.

[nothanks]

"Everyone should rest up until Dragonheart gets back. We need our strength for the journey to get to the shaman," Ratscar instructed.

Justice howled once more, searching for his pack.
