Prince Stephan had stood guard on the outer window ledge, watching the man named Matthew. He disliked him somehow, and his fingers twitched to his dagger, but he kept his cool and waited until Arowin was finished before slipping and sliding back down to where Sinner was waiting. He stumbled slightly but caught himself, reveling as he stood on the edge of the outer wall, feeling both free and guilty at the same time. The guards caught sight of him and he quickly ducked his head, swallowing a lump of fear and leaping off the wall onto Sinner's back a few feet below. His horse reared and bolted away, and Stephan had to rein him in so that Arowin and Emerald could catch up. He shot Matthew a dirty look and charged past him, Sinner's hooves kicking up dust and the gold jingling from his saddle bags.

Sorry guys. I got a bit carried away. -Hangs head in shame- How about we do something similar? Like rob a nobles carriage passing through the forest or something like that?

Arowin followed after Emerald and Stephan ponying the pack horse behind her. They made good pace and reached the forest with time to spare. She glanced around at the others with a hue grin on her face. She spotted Mat and waved him over. "Good to see you got out." she said with a laugh as her horse picked out the trail but to their hideout.

Emerald galloped away from the castle giddy with joy that they had pulled off the robbery. She slowed then as they got into the forest and gave Stephan a high five. "Wish I could have seen Guy's face when he saw the gold gone." she said with a huge grin and a chuckle. If they could pull this off, who knew what else was possible? She looked over to talk to Arrowin and froze again when she saw she was talking to Matthew. He looked so different from Casper yet so similar. It scared her for a moment before she got angry. Somebody sent him. To ruin everything, to try and throw them into despair again. She was not going to let it happen again. Never. With a snarl she jumped from Envy's bare back and stomped to Matthew. She grabbed him by his shirt and pinned him against a tree. "Who sent you!?" she shouted in his face. She banged him against the tree and asked again, anger, confusion, and grief clouded her face. She had finally gotten come to terms with his death and now this.

(It's okay I guess. & that sounds cool.)

Arowin knew how Emerald felt. She continued to ride ahead and reached the castle. She slipped around to the ivy covered stone door that they used as an enterance way. In the yard Rebecca and Kyle where waiting to greet them. "Hey Kyle." she said happily seeing him practicing. She looked up at the start sky with a sigh. "I will be back later, will you look after Brander?" she asked Kyle.

Kyle nodded eagerly. Anything to help. He grabbed the playfully grey geldings reins as Arowin slipped back out the door and back into the shadows of he forest. He lead the gelding into the stable and untracked him and then the pack horse. "Woah! Look at all this gold!" he shouted happily. He then took it into the tack room and put it in their. He knew that within the next week the others would ride tithe villages and give them the money but till then it would remain here.

Rebecca waved as Arowin came in. She stood in the courtyard with her arms crossed over her chest a little worried about Stephan. She hadn't seen him arrive yet but then again Arowin did ride as if she always had the knights on her heels. Rebecca tucked a long strand of mahogany coloured hair behind her ear and waited still.

Arowin slipped into the forest. She often left The Hood during the night and they had grown used to it. It was her way of dealing with Chris being gone. She pulled the midnight blue clock up over her head turning herself into but another shadow of the forest and silently picked out her way to the river and the oak tree that grows alongside it. As she reached it the utter silence surrendered to the soft sound of the tumbling river waters. She sat down under the Oak tree with her back against it and her eyes on the river. She smiled and watched the stars and silver moon reflected off the beautiful black water as she remembered the sweet memories fondly.

Matthew glanced at Stephan as he thundered past, catching the look, he wondered what he ahd done now. Of course he was used to those looks, but he didn't see any reason for that one. As he spotted Arowin and was ushered over he did so, he trotted up to them on Dallas, but soon swung off his stallion. Matt grinned, "Always try for a quick getaway," said Matt, "And of course style, it's rather fun to fall off a window ledge," he said, he seemed rather arrogant, but he was just happy. He'd been caught and cautioned far too many times to mention, but if he'd been caught this time it would have cost him his life.

Matthew was slammed into the tree, he had not been expecting it and it dazed him for a few moments, "Sent me? Sent me? You think I just got sent here?" he seemed confused with a hint of outrage. he didn't understand why he was being accused. Arowin was the only one who'd been kind to him so far, Stephan had glared and now this. He had no idea why this was happenign to him. he knew he wasn't the best of people, but surely he didn't deserve this?
"I wasn't sent here by some prissy knight, I came of my own accord," he retorted to her, feeling bitter and brittle. If these were people he knew, friends, the argument would ahve been laughed off, or he'd have simply rode away. But he hadn't the faintest clue who any of these people were and why they hated him. If only he had known about Casper...

Rebecca walked outside of the courtyard and noticed what was going on. She was stunned by what was going on and hurried forward. "What's goin on?" she asked. She was shocked by Stephan glaring at him and Emerald retiming to kill him and pretty stunned that the stranger was here.

"Don't ask me," said Matthew, genuinely confused, he was still pinned to the tree by Emerald, but now that he'd got over the shock he decided to use his strength to his advantage and took Emerald's hands from his shoulders, quickly darting over to his horse. He wasn't scared of Emerald, but apprehensive, as people tended to be when their life had just been threatened.

"Lies!" Emerald spat. "Somebody sent you! If you don't tell me who I'll force it out of you!" she shouted. As Matthew ripped her off she growled and lunged at him, his hair just out of her reach. "Wait! Please!" she screamed out, she meant for it to be a threat, but something made her feel as if Casper was slipping out of her grasp once more. Her voice was shaky and pleading. Her heart rate was beating out of control but she managed to steady her breathing, her mask of self confidence and control returning again. Her hand flew to her dagger, ready to throw it at him and make him stay if he didn't choose to stay himself.

"Your highness?" Saya asked.

John looked up again. "Yes?" he asked surprised. He had forgotten Saya was there as he had been lost in thought about his wife and son. The two people that meant most to him had been taken from him. By The Hood. Anger boiled inside of him. He hadn't yet found out about the treasury robbing, but when he did he was sure to be even more angry. Why had they always escaped from the knights?
