'Hi JT

I had the most awesome day ever...............

Ok so i told my friends two days ago (i know i skipped a few days but they were uneventful) at the movies, everybody was happy for me, except Dan, he didn't seem to happy. "ya.... thats great Storm, um....... i got to go." He mumbled, then he left. I didn't know what was bothering him.

So today at noon I went to the park to meet Jake, like we agreed, and he was there with a picnic ready for us. He is soooo sweet. "Hi Storm!" he called and waved his paw, motioning for me to sit. So I sat down and he pulled out a small bundle of purple and yellow flowers, "Oh.... Thank you!" I said with a smile.
Then he grabbed a fruit salad out of his basket and put it on the blanket. "you want some?" he asked, "sure" I grabbed a chunk of pineapple and popped it in my mouth. "mmmmm...... this is good! did you add sugar?" I asked him placing a pear slice in my mouth. "Yup, I wanted to make it extra sweet." he said with a smile. I pop another chunk of fruit in my mouth and look around. I see something blue in the grass, "hey whats that?" i ask, pointing to it. Jake shrugs and we both walk over to it. I pick it up, its a frisbee. "do you think it belongs think it belongs to someone?" he asks, looking around. No one came to claim it so I motioned to Jake to back up. "catch it!" I called. I threw it and it glided smoothly through the air. A very nice throw, if a do say so myself. Jake leaps in the air and catches it in his paws (of course). We throw it a few more times. Then Jake throws it another time but his throw got messed up, it turns and starts heading to the lake. I chase it and reach up to grab it, it skims my claws tips and keeps going. I landed badly and stumbled a few steps before falling........ IN THE LAKE! I was so embarrassed! I was dripping wet. Jake runs over and I expect him to start laughing, but he doesn't. The first thing he says is: "Storm! are you ok?" I look up at him for a few moments then start laughing. My laughs must be contagious because he starts laughing too. Then all of a sudden he falls into the lake too, splashing me. We stop laughing for a second and look at each other. A smile spreads across his face and we start laughing again. After getting out of the pond and cleaning up the picnic we look at each other. "I guess you have to go home now...." he say quietly, he looks at his feet "I had a great time...." I murmured. Then I lean forward and kiss him on the cheek. I can tell he's blushing, though you can't see it through his fur. Then he leans towards me, puts his hand on my cheek, and kisses me. I close my eyes, then all of a sudden i hear someone call my name. "storm!" I draw back sharply and whip around to see who interrupted. It was Dan, he was running towards Jake, then he stopped and shoved Jake. "What are you doing!?" I snarled. "Protecting you!" he said. Jake looked surprised, "from what?" asked Jake. Dan scowled at Jake, "I saw him....." Ha jabbed his finger at Jake's chest "Kissing another girl yesterday, behind the school!" Jake looked disgusted. "what are you talking about?!" he growled. I frowned and grinded my teeth, I was doing everything i could to not yell at Dan. "Just leave Dan....." I said quietly. Dan clenched his hands in fists and walked away. "sorry..... He's usually not like that........ I don't know what got into him......" I said fumbling over my words. "You know.... I think he likes you..." said Jake, Laughing quietly. I was surprised, Dan liking me? "I.... I...." I was embarrassed. "hey, don't worry. It's not like you like him" said Jake. I looked at my feet, Do I like him? I wish you could help me JT.... but your just a book.
Gotta go to bed. Bye JT

Hey JT

I went to school today, did boring work and stuff, and i was standing out side the school. I was waiting for Jake, we were going to go to the movies later. He was very late, I was standing there for twenty minutes. I know what your thinking, I should of went to look for him ten minute's ago or something, but I wanted to cut him some slack. Wait! I just realized something, you can't think! that was mean of me............... oh well. So I went to go looking for him, while I was walking down the hall I heard whispers, I looked around the corner and saw Jake... WITH ANOTHER GIRL! I perked my ears to listen in on what they were saying. "Why didn't you break up with her yet?" asked the girl. this is what she looked like by the way:


I had a feeling "her" was me. "I'm going to break up with her, be patient" Jake said. "I waited long enough Jake! I know I said no the other day when you asked to be my boyfriend, and you kissed me, but now I do want to be your girlfriend." She said, looking desperate. "fine, I'll break up with her today..." said Jake holding one of her paws. I stepped out of the shadows, where they could see me, and said: "No Jake, I'm breaking up with you. It''s over...." Then I walked out of there.
I feel proud of myself JT! But i also feel really sad........ I just really thought Jake liked me........
