Dane walked into the house, wiping blood off of the corner of her mouth. Whiskey was on his breath but only slightly. The little girl grinnedand clung to his leg.

Matthew opened up the stable for her and glanced as Seth trotted into the pasture.

Adelie didn't noticed when he walked in, slowly moving one chair a little ways back from the table and sitting down. She honestly wasn't that hungry but ate a small piece of cornbread to be polite.

Claire sighed softly and walked into the stable.

Seth glanced over to Claire, "I told you that I'd see you later."

Dane shuffled over to the table and took a piece of cornbread. He nibbled on it, "Hiya." he mused.

Claire merely shrugged in reply, stretching."Yeah, guess so."

Adelie paused hesitantly, glancing up and raising an eyebrow since he seemed less hostile."Hi."

Seth trotted over to her and watched Matt walk into the house. He undid the latch for her stall, "Whatever then."

Dane grinned, "So you won't sick your horse on me, hm?"

Claire nosed the stall door open and stepping out, glancing at the briars and stickers stuck to the graceful hair on her lane and hooves. She grimaced, knowing she couldn't wait until Adelie could clean her protectively again. Sighing she shook out her mane and glanced at Seth, "What's your name?"

Adelie shrugged, "Seeing as you've no intention to kill me yet, probably not."

"Seth." he stated simply before gently removing the burrs and briars.

Dane nodded, "I suppose that's reasonable."

Claire watched him gratefully."Thanks... I'm Claire."

Adelie gave a simple smile and nodded.

Seth nodded slightly, "Nice name." he replied and stepped away.

Dane glanced at his leg, "Could you remove the small child from my leg?"

Claire nodded softly, "Thanks."

Adelie glanced at the girl and laughed softly, "Nah, you're in your own." She grinned.
