Stop The Taiji Slaughter!

*Mods I don't know if this is to graphic fro CS but it is true, sickening and very few people know about it. I understand if you wish to remove this topic but I ask that you consider leaving it up.*

Have any of you every heard of Taiji, Japan? probably not right? well then you also won't know that every year hundreds of thousand of dolphins are brutally slaughtered. The meat is then sold to the locals and around the world as WHALE MEAT! Dolphin Meat is actually partially toxic to people! On here there are lots of threads meant to spread awareness of endangered animals but this is more than that. What's happening in Taiji right now is illegal slaughter of an intelligent species!

I didn't think dolphins were endangered..? If I remember right, Japan also has a limit of what they can take each year. The dolphins are killed as quick as possible via blunt force to the head/neck or a spear/ stake through the head/heart. Its meh for me.

Besides, the guy over the campaign, Ric O'Barry is basically a PETA member. :l

Saying what things..? The truth..? >_> I wasn't rude, angry, or being hurtful towards anyone so I don't see the problem. I also wasn't trying to start an argument.

Ric O'Barry teamed up with PETA, a known terrorist group killing 97% of the animals they 'save'. The are hypocritical extremists who torture animals for those 'fur farm' videos and other such shock factor videos. Even many of the slaughter house videos are faked by PETA members.
Dolphins are not endangered.
The Japanese, as a whole, have a legal amount set by the government on what they can harvest each year.
The dolphins are killed quickly in most cases, they don't intentionally torture the animals.
The town of Taiji has a SELF-IMPOSED quota of 2,400 dolphins per harvesting season which begins every September.

Cardinal hasn't done anything wrong. This is a debatable subject and she is here to state her own opinion and debate - if anyone should be reported, it should be you for being openly rude.

I am not saying you're wrong just simply stating that I think this is sad, but I'm not 100% sure about the facts. And... no offense but it's a bit of a bad sign when everyone who has posted on your thread is banned.
