"I promise I won't leave you." Antonio whispered, not even hesitating to say the words. He didn't want to leave her and there was no reason for that to ever change. He could see the tired look on Erica's face, how she had nearly fallen asleep. She needed rest, the voices would leave her alone then and in the morning maybe things would look a little brighter. "You need sleep." he whispered, kissing the top of her head. He was tired himself but he'd wait to she was safely snoozing, safe and peaceful.

Erica

Erica nodded and her worries were swept away by his words. She smiled, she felt so lucky to have someone who cared about her for real. Someone who didn't care about her odd ways and her past. Someone who loved her, and didn't want to leave her. "Alright I'll try but I'm an insomniac so I don't sleep much." she warned him as she relaxed against him and let her eyes drift shut. She wasn't so scared this time knowing that Antonio wasn't going to disappear and his warmth next to her was comforting. She shifted once and smiled letting herself drift off to sleep.

Antonio waited quietly until Erica was asleep. hearing her slow steady breathing. She look so peaceful now that she was asleep. He waited a couple more minutes before getting to his feet and walking over to the closet. The nights were getting colder and the Doctor didn't spend to much on heating at least, not on this level. Antonio could bet the Doctor's office was toasty warm. He took one of the blankets out of the closet and draped it over Erica, sitting back down behind her, wrapping his arms back around her. He closed his own eyes, he didn't sleep much either but with the thought that there was something to look forward to tomorrow sleep came much easier.

Erica

Erica shifted slightly as Antonio moved and then came back. She let out a contented murmurer, feeling his arms around her on a subconsious level. She settled against him once more drifting into a deeper sleep. Even though she felt more comfortable and relaxed, she shifted uncomfortably as her dreams too a turn for the worst.

((I guess we should though just for Erica and Antonio. None of the characters seem to act with more than two to a conversation so it would be alright to have to two skip a head in time a little... Yes, I know that made next to know sense.))

Antonio woke up, finding himself stretched out on the couch and feeling stiff from the lack of stuffing. His arms were still wrapped around Erica, holding her close to him. It wasn't a dream. The sand man would be happy to know he got to live a couple more days. Antonio kissed her lightly on the top of her head, the sunlight streaming through the open windows. "Rise and shine." he whispered, he knew she probably didn't want to wake up and come back to the world of the voices but didn't want to leave her side without her permission. He had promised and he didn't want her to think he had broken that for even a moment.

(well it made sense to me, then again I'm not a very logic person....)

Erica woke slowly as his words drifted through her mind and she felt the light touch of his lips on her forehead. She smiled feeling Antonio's arms around her and opened her eyes blinking a few times in the sunlight. It seemed to her that last night had not been a dream, and for that she was very glad. "Good morning." she replied happily. For once her voices were not the first thing she heard as she woke. And for once she had also gotten more than four or five hours of sleep, and her dreams had not been disturbing. It felt wonderful to feel so content and rested. She would have been happy just to lay there with his arms wrapped around her, but it was likely time to get up.

Antonio smiled back at Erica, glad she seemed to be feeling better today. "Good morning." he whispered back, brushing a piece of hair away from her face. He wanted to kiss her again, but he knew he shouldn't, kisses were special and he wanted to make each one as memorable as possible. He couldn't see how her hair stayed so pretty after falling asleep, he knew his looked even worse than normal, but it always looked horrid anyway. He just lay there for another moment, hugging Erica close to him before he gathered the will to sit up and think about what needed to be done. "What do you want for breakfast?" he asked, his arms still wrapped around her, he didn't feel like letting go any time soon, he liked having her trapped here with him.

Daniel grinned, looking deep into her beautiful eyes. His smile didn't waver the slightest at his serious-sounding words.
"We plot to kill Smiley, then overrun the world." He grinned, only after did he manage to complete the joke with a hearty laugh.
"Really, I don't know. First, we have to somehow get out, but the only.... stable one is you." He said, but his eyes were the only thing that darkened with regret. Both with the hate of how she had to stay here, but also the wish to change what he had felt, what he had done...

Erica

Erica sat up with him resting her head lightly against his chest ignoring the voices that had begun to speak once more. Right now she wasn't having any trouble with it either, but later they'd be upset she was sure. They always got worse after they got better, that was just how it worked. "I don't really care, what ever they serve I guess." she replied with a shrug. Erica was not really a morning person and wasn't as fond of breakfast, though she never skipped it. Besides she'd be more than happy just to sit and enjoy his warmth behind her, his arms around her. It was very comforting for someone like her who had so many insecurities.
