What if everything you ever knew... was a lie? The laughs, the tears, your friends and family... your life. What if it was all one big lie? No. That's not the right word I suppose. An Illusion. An illusion created just for you. You always knew there was something odd about life. Like... it was designed to make it hard, tough, only for you. Customized probably. And thats exactly what it was.

An Illusion created by those things. They look like people, of course, like any regular person that you might of encountered in what they said was your ' simulation '. In this simulation, which indeed these creatures also called ' Life ' , they put you into a diffrent world, customized just for you. One day you came to your complete sences, and ' Awoke ' from your simulation, which you had been taught previous was your ' Death ' in the simulation. Of course, you didn't just die. You woke up to find that you where just a test subject for these creatures' testing. Of course, now they're letting you go, nice and easy, into their world.

Your world.

In this world, you don't have family, and no one knows you. No, you have something else, quite diffrent from anything you might have imagined. Protectors. The oddest thing? They look exactly like your fursona when you where in the simulation. Normally taking the form of an animal, and in rare cases, humans, they follow you everywhere. They are your ' family ' or Kin, the more official term which stands for what most call Protectors. And exactly what they are, they're your Kin. The only family or friend you have now, unless you get lucky and make some friends in this world.

But be warned, this world had mysteries about it that will leave you stunned. Things so horrible, so evil, yet awe-striking it seems unreal. Then again, you where stuck in a simulation for a large part of your life. Well, what was called your life. Yet you look exactly like how you ' died '. Still young and teen-aged. But time passes much slower here, so be careful. Not everything is what it seems now, and not everybody is your friend. But you have your Protector, so hey, what could go wrong?

In truth, a lot.

Sapphire's life began the day she died.

Cheesy saying, but quite the truth. The day was eerie, with gray clouds flouting overhead, blocking out any of the sun's rays, bringing the promise of rain. She had been riding in her car, a little plain one, which was slightly beaten up, and showed signs of needing cleaning. Then she crashed. Into a drunk driver's old truck. Well, more like he crashed into her.

But she didn't die. Well, she did. She died, but not really. She awoke, not in a hospital, or in her home. No, but in a coffin like-thing like you would see in that ' Avatar ' movie. She heard alarms all around her, and then her coffin door opening, and a bright light shining in to the point where she had to close her eyes. She must be going crazy. She started to here voices. Then she noticed they where real, and she was not going crazy. There they where, a group of people not much older than her, but shining intelligence in there eyes, and a certain pride at the scientist-like clothing they where wearing.

" S-She's alive! First one ever! " Muttered a scientist, a she. " Amazing! " Said another scientist, this one a male. " Now guys, lets not spook her. Hi, Sapphire. Welcome to Edolas, or what you'd called Earth, as you where taught in your simulation. Your the first one to come back alive after dying in the simulation, amazing really. A breakthrough in science! Your an extremely rare case, like mentioned before, the first one to survive your simulation. Others should be ' Waking Up ' soon to though. This is odd. Anyway, welcome! Lets check on your Kin, shall we ? " The scientist said, a guy too, around 18, with the spikiest and bluest hair she'd ever seen.

With some help, she wobbled onto her feet, and, guided by the scientist, walked up to another coffin-looking thing, and carefully, he opened it.

A puff of smoke was followed by slowly openiong eyes. They where the most stunning color Sapphire had ever seen, amazing, stunning, intriguing. Her hair was short, and a jet black darker than the darkest of nights that contrasted against her pale white skin the color of ice, or snow. Her eyes where a turqoise so deep, they looked more green than blue. Part of her bangs fell inbetween her eyes. She had teal lines that descended from her eyes, making it appear as if she's crying. Kinda like a girl version of Ulquiorra from Bleach.

This was the first encounter of Sapphire and Pandora, and where their story begins.

She has two diffrent sides to her, though do to her various personalities, she can also be described as being Bi - Polar.

Her first, more dominant side is the Heroine side of her. She's brave, cunning, intelligent, and couragious. She gets all fired up, and sometimes it makes you think nobody can stop her. Its that moment where a person reaches their peak of amazingness. Except Sapphy has that quite often.

Her second side, the stronger, yet less dominant side, is the dark side of her. She tends to be murderous, and evil, a bit crazy even, though she never goes to the extent where she'll actually kill someone. This side of her is quite entertaining, but is also a warning to be on your watch, or you just might end up with a knife stabbed into your back.
